SMW Demo Release Forum

I have an idea for a forum. You can inform everyone you release a demo of your hack. You can give others feedback if they wish so! Nothing else can be spoken there. This'll be helpful for everyone who don't want to check into WIP thread and check full releases frequently. I think it might be useful :)
I have a Discord server as well! (by joining, you agree to the rules)

Basically, I believe in peace and bashing two bricks together.

Most people don't even like demos I think. idk, people shouldn't be encouraged to view a demo release as a big accomplishment. We need more full hacks
It's easily the best thing I've done
So why the empty numb?
This is a neat idea! I support.

How are you supposed to get feedback?
*everything stops*
Yeah, that's me. You're probably wondering how I got into this situation...

The main reason I don't really agree with this is because such a forum could encourage users to release a ton of demo versions of their hacks, and believe me, it becomes tiresome to play all of them. Other users would eventually feel less interested in these hacks that are so often updated that at some point they might completely lose interest in them. It's very likely that a couple of users will often do that, and not everyone feels like playing a new demo release because the author thinks that completing two or three levels warrants one.

I also fail to see the need of a subforum for Demo hacks when the hacks section is a much better place to post your Demos at. Not to mention that it's easier for outsiders to download them and the few exceptions that'd fit better in a Demos subforum like unfunny joke hacks or hacks so broken that they wouldn't get accepted in the section don't warrant a subforum in my opinion. WIP can have these fine although that's where some kind of tagging system in forums would come handy.

tl;dr: cute idea but it won't work
The Works in Progress forum is essentially exactly this, but less limited.
Your layout has been removed.
I better post a demo in my own wip thread

Do you mean full hack releases are WAY more important than demos?

Yeah naturally
