GAINing Problems? [Solved]

One of the advantages of GAIN is to allow custom envelopes. The simplest way to make use of it seemed to be Remote code calls. However I'm unable to wrap my head around getting a sustain point. Since, accordingly, only one Remote Code (except -1 and 4) can be ran at a given point. I'm unable to get a sustain alongside attack and release.

Using a sustain would mean note cuts on rests. An alternatives to that would be inserting a '4' event at every rest, replacing that with a tie. However that doesn't seem healthy for file size. So my question would be is there a better way? Tbh I don't mind it but I'm sure someone more experienced with GAIN might have a trick or two.

AMK doesn't have the necessary tools to do the super fancy gain stuff.

I usually just stick with ADSR for my attack and sustain and use gain for my release.

In hindsight I had a feeling it'd be something like that. Guess it's not the end of the world. #fim{XD}

That seems most intuitive. I'll probably try one more port using GAIN and see it's worth against ADSR. Thanks for the response!
