What other gaming/forum sites do you use?

Topic. Not counting social media-type sites. I used to use GameFaqs pretty religiously, until I was suspended for saying "gay" lol on a topic 2 weeks ago. Can't create any alt accounts thanks to how the site works, so I guess my time with that site is over. I've recently started using Reddit because of that, and it's pretty fun there, I guess.
...And no, I haven't become a freaky zoid due to Reddit exposure, at least not yet.

I used to be active on RetroAchievements' forums but I got bored, same with DKCatlas. I visit ROMHacking.net ocasionally but I haven't posted on the forums yet.

How does GameFAQs work that specifically keeps you from making an alt? I mean I wouldn't encourage it, I just wonder what they do that makes it harder.
Your layout has been removed.
None. The only other forums I ever frequented were Brazilian hacking forums which no longer exist (RIP).
It's easily the best thing I've done
So why the empty numb?
Well, I'm easily most integrated into this forum. And though I'm most active here and most familiar with lots of the members here, I am a part of many more.

It prevents any accounts under the same usermap (location, Google account, wifi, ect.) from having active accounts. So if you have a banned account, any other accounts under that usermap are banned as well, even if they're new or don't have any moderations against them. So basically I have no way of using GameFaqs anymore, unless I used it at a friend's house under an entirely different Google account or something

Is a banned GameFAQs account not allowed to access the site to spectate at any means? Or does it act as usual, allowing you to only see the stuff in there without posting (only lurking)?

On topic: I'm not active in most of them. I used ZetaBoards, was a former member of Flipline Forums (a two-man company creating flash games), an active Redditor (not a gamer though), and this site. I was also a member and now a lurker of Minecraft Forums.
Placeholder until I have decided what to finally put here.

You can kind of look at the main page and your account settings to an extent, but boards are blocked from viewing. Only thing you can do is sign out to lurk topics

Wow that's harsh. Makes me worry about my account now. Never banned, but I apparently did get a warning at some point. And, is that security new?

I'm on GFAQs (Of course), and lots of places I'm not especially active in. ._.' Including like, proboards, and those follow on miiverse places.
Please pardon the eye.
None as well, besides some Brazilian hacking forums which are now dead and also Evil Daizo Productions and the currently dead JDC Games.

Not to go on too much about GameFaqs, but this is the screen I get when trying to browse boards...

And all for saying gay lol

That looks like a suspension, not a ban. If you do get banned, its likely there were more offenses than just this one.

I don't know the context of your post, so I won't comment on that, except to say that while only some people are gay, it's well accepted those that aren't are missing out. :P

Anywho I'm on the Dwarf Fortress forums sometimes (it gets a bit toxic and alt-right in the politics threads, so I steer clear of those), and my warcraft 3 clan's forums, along with a general warcraft 3 modding site.
In the past I've participated on the Mineplex forums. In the end I decided that it wasn't worth it. I have a Reddit account too but I never use it.

I still frequent some other small forums to be honest, not really for the hacking aspect, just for the community.
Baidu Tieba, a massive Chinese forum with thousands of subforums related to diffrent topics.

Besides, I frequently visit some game engine forums including GameMaker and Unity to learn things about indie game development.

I used to be very active in a German gaming (mostly Nintendo centered) forum in 2009/10. Can't remember the name tho...

Also used to be somewhat active in the Minecraft and Battlefield forums.

I use the Castlevania Dungeon and The Bloodstained Official Forum.

I am more active in these sites than here, but that's not saying much.

I personally adore the Bloodstained community, there's something mystical about it. Everyone is so nice, mature and friendly.
There are no trolls, no flame wars, and as mentioned before, the users are mature.

It's also very organized.

The Castlevania Dungeon is also wonderful. But I do not visit it as often.
Dawn upon me, morning sun... I anxiously tarry for thee, come to vanquish this horrible era of my life.

Things I am excited for:
Apparently there is nothing announced anywhere that really interests me.

Things I probably should do:
Update my profile to coincide with the new changes.
