I just clicked some random-ass GX video on some easter egg during metaknight's battle, which I have already done. but a random-ass thumbnail just spoiled me to the fact that
one of the bosses is Galactaknight, it's not that surprising since he's been in so many games since his creation, but it still pisses me off that the surprise got ruined. I hope his theme kicks ass because it was hard to hear anything on the 3DS, I want to blast it loud on my tv.
My fault for even clicking anything about the game, but still, goddamn. I'm getting outta here before I see anything else!
I beat the game, I thought it was alright, I might have had too high expectations, but what do you expect coming off of planet robobot, probably the best kirby game ever. The game just kinda felt samey the whole way through: generic kirby platforming, that's fine, but there's an insane amount of puzzle rooms that make you stop, drop all your fun powers, and use the ones the game wants you to. I just wanted to be an electric ninja the entire game, but I would always lose it because I had to do a lameass puzzle just to get a streetpass puzzle piece. The environments were varied enough, but the levels just felt like the same thing each time.

I think that the multiplayer is a hindrance to the game. of course it's fun to play with friends, but they are also limiting the level design in order to make up for more people on screen. It's much worse in NSMBwii where you get longass stretches of nothing for you to run on, but I feel it here too.

The final boss was great, but I think his design is kind of lame. Not even close to as amazing as planet robobot, but fortunately, it scratched my itch for that dark, unsettling underbelly that kirby hides under its cute exterior. If it wasn't for that final boss, This game would have fallen flat.

I think that if they reuse the engine to make a second game, it would be way better if they use fresh ideas. Planet robobot was just so creative, building so much on top of triple deluxe, I think they could do it again using this as a base.
(unfortunately it would mean 30fps all over again, but I got over it)

DLC dropped earlier in America than I expected. Started a Guest Star run as Marx and did some research to get his moves up on the wiki. Really fun to play as, even though he is a terrible, evil little boy who I will never trust
