The ADSR Thread (For AddmusicK)

Link Thread Closed
@14 $89 $AA $00 $07 $00 -> Fiddle
@6 $DF $2A $00 $03 $00 -> Banjo
n1C $9C $2E $7F $00 $00 -> Chinese Cymbal

For best effect on the Fiddle, apply soft vibrato.

Example shown in this port of mine.

Hopefully, this doesn't count as spammy necro-posting.

It's not exactly ADSR, but it kinda serves the same purpose. It's a pretty decent vanilla record scratch sound. The only drawback is that it's pretty quiet, which is why I recommend maxing the volume out for it. Anyway, you can hear it in this Metropolis Zone port I'm working on.
Quintesson Judge: Silence, or you will be held in contempt of this court!
Hot Rod: I have nothing but contempt for this court!
- Transformers the Movie (1986)
BTW, I found improvement for the ADSR Instruments that hasn't been put up for some reason and a few new ones.

@4 $DA $A0 $00 $03 $00 -> Trumpet or Brass Trumpet
@4 $AA $B2 $00 $03 $00 -> Trumpet (Short/Fast)
@15 $CF $72 $00 $01 $E8 -> Timpani ($FA $03 $XX required and o1-o2)
n1C $FF $EE $00 $00 $00 -> Crash/Splash Cymbal 2
@6 $D9 $A0 $00 $03 $00 -> French Horn (Short/Fast) $EC $02 $02 $0C

Here is a port I made for example about all of this.

Let me try and add one to the thread.

Electric Marimba

Code
@16 $BF $98 $BB $03 $00

It sounds pretty similar to the Electric Marimba instrument that comes with Garage Band. Example of this is in channel 6 of this port.

All added! Great additions, guys.
@1 $CF $70 $00 $03 $00 -> Piano
(SPC)

@7 $AE $75 $00 $03 $00 -> Alternate @7 Steel Drum
n1F $FA $00 $00 $00 $00 -> Maracas
I found that it sounds better with $00 sustain instead of $20.
And I don't know where you will put for these:
@4 $CE $00 $00 $03 $00
@8 $CE $00 $00 $1E $00 = Pitch Envelopes (Listen to Channel 2/#1)
@1 $CE $00 $00 $03 $00
(SPC for all these 5)

Fun fact, this was the very first custom composition I ever made for SMW in Anvil Studio, but the first ever version was done 3 years ago and it was empty and off-rhythm as heck, but I decided to start improving it around couple months ago.

EDIT: Oh, I forgot one more.
@25 $FF $FD $00 $20 $00 -> Side Stick (o2g&o3e) (SPC, with my own Marky Beat I made up years ago)

Here are the last few ones before you add them so I make sure I don't go too overboard:
@14 $9E $4C $00 $07 $00 -> Harpichord (SPC) [Recommend use with fast notes]
@3 $DF $1B $00 $04 $00 -> Agogo (SPC) [o5c4 for high, and o4g4 for low)
@5 $EF $2C $00 $07 $00 -> Shamisen (SPC) [Recommend use with short echo delay]

Also, a percussion instrument for @2 idea just popped up in my head.
@2 $FF $72 $00 $07 $00 -> Triangle (Open)
@2 $FF $7C $00 $07 $00 -> Triangle (Muted)
(SPC) [o6c]

Harmonica

Code
@14 $A9 $A2 $00 $07 $01

It's best used with vibrato, and at higher octaves. I also feel like this is a better custom harmonica than the one found under @6. Only problem it suffers from is it's high tuning values. It seems like anything over o6c+ will overflow. Example on channels 1 and 8 of this SPC.

You can request the instrument codes to Brass, blown bottle and sine?
As good as this thread is, it hasn't been updated in quite a while. Moving this thread to the display case in favor of the new thread.
