I recognize you. Your YouTube channel was dead, your last video was uploaded 5 years ago! I'd like to see a new video if you have motivation and time for recording. Seems like you've never finished a single hack, I don't know what happened to Flavorous!, either. I want to know if you'll continue it or not.
Sprites section got a little rearrangement, too. Some of the old sprites got converted to work with PIXI while others got removed. Several restricted threads, forums and subforums got removed while some new restricted threads got added.
And the last, but not the least, I'm so sorry that school was rough to you this year. It'll probably be as rough to me as it was to you, however I have no idea if I'll have any time for discussing on SMWC forums and hacking.
I remember that I lost the ROM hack because my PC suddenly broke and I had to buy a new one. I didn't backup my data in time. :/
About hacks, I think I've made a few side-projects for stuffs like contests or collabs, but yeah, I've never finished a solo hack because I either forgot about it, I started to dislike it or I lost data. If I'd make a ROM hack ever again, I'd probably create it from scratch and I'd stick to vanilla stuff (eventually I might mess a bit with Map16 tiles if I learn how to use it again).
About my YouTube channel, I've made a different one on which I uploaded videos of like projects in other games or other garbage like this. I didn't return to my old one for two reasons:
1. I lost access to my account.
2. When I looked back, I disliked how poorly made my videos were. They were laggy and the text blocks were ugly IMO.
I could eventually try putting ROM hacks progress onto my new YouTube account, however I don't know if people are still interested in these kind of stuff. Back then quite a lot of people were watching Mario games and hacks, but nowadays I think it's not as popular as it used to be. The only popular thing are speedruns I think, and I don't really have time for speedrunning a game (even though I made a lot of noobish TAS runs when I was younger, lol).
Also it's a cool feeling that some people actually recognise my name, even thought I haven't been very active since like 2014.
