A good day

When laying in bed after a long day and staring at the ceiling in wait for sleep to take you, what has to have happened in order for you to be able to smile and rest easy knowing it's been a good day? Maybe it's being able to see certain people throughout, or getting to accomplish what you set out to do in the day. It can be any number of things happening (or not happening), as long as it earns even the tiniest smile from you.

And just as a little preemptive clarification: I know this might be a difficult question to answer for some people. While I completely understand this feeling—please restrain any overly negative responses for this thread, even as memes :). Not asking you to lie or anything, just a little request from ol' Veck.

ITT: What's your personal definition of a good day?
This may come off as weird but I personally would consider a good day at minimum is a day where Id don't have to deal with people irl for daily routines such as chores and at minimum play some good video games. It would still be boring and normally I don't consider boring days to be good because there is nothing really exciting for me to experience, but the key difference is this: at least it leaves open the possibility for more fun and exciting things that I'd like to experience that I want to do before I kick the bucket, such as going to different, exotic diners, have fun experiencing different games id like to try out, and travel to new places.

On Pixel Art Requests: Depends on what it is and if I have the time for it. If its complex and I don't have the time, don't expect me to accept it.

Thankfully it doesn't take me a lot to be optimistic. I just think of the good little moments I had and the productive activities I've done, and remember that whatever bad that's happened is now gone or is going to be gone eventually.
Very rarely I laid in bed and thought to myself "now, today was really not good". And even then, that tends to follow with "tomorrow is going to be better".

But particularly, either having a great time with people I like or realising I'm so tired because I didn't stop doing [productive] things all day makes me quite satisfied.
It's easily the best thing I've done
So why the empty numb?
A good day to me is when everything works out as intended, especially if the good moments outweigh the bad moments, and if these ever happen, I think to myself that "everything will be better". It gives me a feeling of satisfaction at the end of the day.

For me, all I need to be satisfied about the day is to have done anything productive, especially when it's about university. I'm an extremely lazy person so that give me a tremendous push. Other things include having talked to friends (and don't mess it up in some way) and having found time to play video games.

I just remembered I forgot to actually talk about myself in my original post. Rather than just updating that post with something, I'll just make a new post because...why not?

A lot of people have mentioned getting anything productive done when it comes defining a day as good or not, and that's something that really applies to me too I think. Sure, there are some exceptions to this like when it comes to hanging out with people I genuinely enjoy being around, but I can't help but sometimes feel a day is wasted if I get nothing productive done throughout.
My friends messaging me or popping round for a visit, getting calls back about my job search. Always something to be thankful for 🥳

This is a really interesting question.

The first and foremost thing to my mind is progess as far as pushing my musical career forward. My dream is to be a musician. Any time I finish a song, learn something new about composing, or sign up for a class it feels great.

Other than that... If during the day I had a really good time with friends, with lots of laughing, I'll go to bed happy. Also, any day where I get to see my brothers, cause we don't get to see each other much anymore but we're super close. Also, getting acquainted with a cute girl, or just getting back in touch with one that I like :> That puts me to sleep with a smile. Getting back in touch with old friends would also do it. I got back in touch with my first friend from Elementary school recently and that made me happy. Also having had done something really special for someone will make me happy. Like, sometimes my dad and I go out and feed the homeless. That always feels good.

Those are the ones right off the top of my head :3

I'd say a good day would be just relaxing in bed with device and just hanging out, ignoring the world and all of my daily problems. Hanging out with friends and my girlfriend. "Sleep is a very underrated part of the not killing people process" -Asuna Sword Art Online Abridged-
First major post here. I guess I shall make a good first impression.

A good day is a day of progress, a day where something is accomplished, a day where you get closer and closer to your goal. Most of the days I spend are days of stagnation, not much happens, time isn't spent very well, ETC. I feel that a good day is when stuff gets done.

Hey check it out I made a level that got 104th place (wow he sucks!).
For me it's a good day if I manage to do something useful for the day, play some games, go for a walk, and/or watch TV. Even if it rains, I could look through the window at it. If I can do at least one of these, I consider it a good day.

C'mon, man, I try my best.

A good day to me is one where I overall have next to no moments of frustration, where I would feel good afterwards and to an extent being productive. It really depends whether it's neccesary to do stuff that day.
A good day for me is the day I've been able to accomplish things. Either work on or finish projects, kick stuff out of my To Do list, or just meet up with people or travel, or learning new things. A day filled with laughter or a fun experience is also a good day. Any of that instead of, y'know, just sitting around idly or trying to make something work only for it not to work.

I can be lazy but I can also become a bit of a workaholic at times. It's weird and I don't get it. I blame it on inertia.

Of course, if your goal is to relax for a day, then a good day is one where you relaxed without having to worry about mostly anything else.

Conversely, a bad day is one where I was both unproductive and stressed out, because at that point I feel like I'm accomplishing nothing nowhere.
