New super mario bros. Wii hacking!

I've seen some treads about this subject but realy never seen one that disscuses peoples own hacks as well as sharing them.
I've recently started hacking NSMBW and im learning more and more.
My first stage involves a dragon coaster ride.(Figures)
At the moment im making HUGE enemy ambush stages for no real purpose.
I will put world 1 in "My Files" when it's done.

I won't provide a link to downloading the Homebrew/Reggie editor so just google it or look at YouTube! There's lots of nice tutorials and it's easy to learn. (You'll need an SD card though... and the homebrew channel).

I will provide pictures on my stages because lack of capture card. :P
But don't ask me about something like textures etc. I suck at it.#w{:<}

So if you've got a finished world/stage...or just felling like showing the progress then share it here!#w{:>}
Sorry for the bump, but is it possible to play NSMBWii hacks without the homebrew channel? I have an SD card, and my family's Wii is version 4.3. I can't use the homebrew channel because more of my family than just me uses the Wii...

I already have Reggie and the level files BTW, so technically, I could make levels, but I like to test my levels too...so yeah...I've considered NSMBWii hacking before...
Eh, sure. Why not? Kaizo hacking doesn't seem too ha-aaaaaaand I broke the ROM.
Well, you don't need the Homebrew Channel, just some way of loading homebrew applications. I don't really know of any other homebrew loaders, but you can trust me when I say that the Homebrew Channel is SAFE. It's the best way of running homebrew applications, and it looks nice! :D

Sorry, but there's no way of running the hacks without a homebrew loader. I don't see why it matters that your family uses the Wii though. Mine does, too and it works just the same. As long as you follow the instructions properly, there's a 99% chance that you WON'T brick your Wii.

Since your firmware is 4.3 (like mine) you'll need to own a copy of Super Smash Bros. Brawl and use the HBC installer SmashStack. There are tutorials for this on YouTube, and the one that helped me was made by DShacker18, if I remember correctly. Hope this helped :D

I'm not worried about bricking my Wii, I'm worried about my family finding out I'm using the Homebrew Channel...maybe I should save up for a Wii to put in my room or something...

Does you family have some sort of problem with the Homebrew Channel? It's not like it's illegal.
I was recently looking at a few NSMBW hacks and some had bowser in a normal level completely working and un-glitched.

Does New super Mario bros Wii utilize sprite sets like most of the retro games I hack?

Just curious.

No, not really. The sprites in NSMBW are actually 3D models, which do not correspond to sprite tilesets, meaning you can use pretty much any enemy anywhere.

Tiles, however, are a different matter.

If you don't want to go through all the hassle of setting up homebrew, then do what I do.

Just install dolphin emulator which is a wii/ camecube emulator. Open the rom and you can play the rom on your pc. If you want to connect the wiimote then I recommend searching how to do that since It's hard to explain in text.
Dude the last post was like 8 years ago.
