Samples

In music terms, what are they, where can I find them, and how do i insert them? Could someone tell me? Pleeease? :D
Sample bank?
You can find them when you download the music, you insert them with SampleTool and I'm not 100% sure about what they do...
To answer all of your questions...

Samples (in SNES terms) are sound files in .brr format. They're used to create music but in a different format than playing an instrument.

Sample bank files can be found in the music submissions on the music list in which the correlating port can use.

To insert sample banks for Addmusic 4.05 songs you want to use Sample Tool and with AddmusicM, it's a little tougher, you need to insert .brr files with the program itself but you need to list them in blist.txt.

The music list is still being organized but as of late, look for songs with [ S ] before them. Those signify sampled ports.
I think a post layout goes here somewhere...
