The purpose of this thread is for general music discussion, i.e. bands, upcoming albums by said bands, etc. Feel free to create actual threads for bands but please use common sense when making new threads.

About time this madness ended, and I think all of the albums I wanted came out, unless Slayers 10th album comes out this year, because Indestructible and All Hope Is Gone are out. But what I really want is for System Of A Down to get back together and make a 6th album, Mezmerize was just badass.

3 of the 4 made a new band called Scars on Broadway, and Serj went his own way with some album which is ok... Empty Walls by him was good tho..

I was never a fan of SoaD.
I am anticipating Drist's new album (No release date set), AtR's "Overcome" (To be released in early-mid September) and sort of looking forward to IaG's new album (Being released in early October).

What do you mean by "industrial"? I like some industrial metal, like Mnemic and Sybreed. However, I hate the Deathstars-esque electronic industrial bands with the "robotic" vocals (Although Gothminister is an okay band).
Also, is anyone here a fan of Arch Enemy? If so, you should check out Mercenary's awesome cover of Arch Enemy's song "Burning Angel."

Them Crooked Vultures' self-titled album came out in Canada today. Sadly they took the album off of their youtube page now that it's released, but it is every bit as awesome as you would think, being a supergroup consisting of Josh Homme, Dave Grohl, and John Paul Jones.
