I just went to see The A-Team today, and I liked it as well. Like CP said, there's plenty of action, but there are also some nice humorous moments in there.

So last night I torrented "And Then There Were None", and it was pretty good. The fact that they changed the names of some characters and even the ending took away from a lot of enjoyment I got from the book, but eh. I suppose in the 1940s happy endings were all that happened.

Just watched 'The Deer Hunter' starring Robert De Niro. Very powerful film, and incredible to say the least. It's very dark, and leaves quite a disturbing message at the end. Anybody else seen it? (Calling out to a dead thread here, hoping for some graves to crumble and people to rise.)

A Bronx Tale is a classic crime drama film.It was debut of Robert De Niro.I love the character played by Robert De Niro and Chazz Palminteri in it.Its story is amazing. The story was written by PalminterThe movie features a lot of music from the '50s and '60s era including "Come Together","All Along The Watchtower","It's a Man's Man's Man's World","I Wonder Why","Nights in White Satin".I love its music.

I personally liked the 2009-2010 reincarnation of "V", though some parts even I thought were rather stupid.
Also, "La Vita e Bella" (Life is Beautiful) could very well be one of the greatest, funniest movies I've think I've ever seen. Especially in its original Italian.

Can you guys believe that they apparently Canceled King Of The Hill, for The Cleveland Show? That just makes me so sad, especially because I recently got into KOTH. I cant believe they would do such a thing, Cleveland Show is so terrible. Bah.

Batman Beyond was cool, but not quite as cool as Batman: The Animated Series was. Still pretty awesome though, the whole DCAU was rather great.

I've gone through the first season now and while the episodes are rather hit and miss, the writing is excellent. They're really good at making sympathetic anti-villains.
I'm kinda getting tired of how everything explodes with the slightest provocation, not to mention all superpowers seem to be derived from radiation, electricity, genetic modification, or all the above. It gets pretty darn ridiculous at times. But I guess that's just Batman.

True. And unlike normal Batman, none of the villains without superpowers are really all that threatening. On the plus side, Henry Rollins had his first voice acting gig as Mad Stan! Gotta love Henry Rollins.

I'm continuing to watch Batman Beyond, and I gotta say, what the hell.
Did come across one episode I very much disliked, though (s2e21: plague). Crimes:
1) Brought a dude back from the dead with zero explanation. Note that this guy's mind was fried, on screen, and then fell off a very tall building.
2) Villains had little to no backstory.
3) Bad government agent guy is totally ambivalent and helpful to Batman when in the very preceding episode, Batman royally pissed him off and beat him up.
It's one of those episode you pretend didn't happen.

I watched Chronicle with my friends today, pretty damn awesome. I'm sure most people know what it's about so I'm not gonna explain it or talk about it much since there ain't much to it.
Also my friend showed me the best movie ever. It's called "Rubber" which is about a tire that kills people. It is retardedly hilarious because of the main story and the other little events that occur in it

It's probably one of the best "first person" movies ever, especially given the method used to change it to third person in the second half of the movie.
Fun as hell to watch, that's for sure, and the climax was great.

Watching Batman the Animated Series now, figuring I might as well watch everything in this continuity.
The most badass character in the DCAU? No superpowers. No fancy gadgets. No tragic backstory. He's a balding, middle aged fat guy who's self described as pathetic. And he makes the Joker cower in mortal terror, screaming for Batman to save him.
I've got a list of nipicks and complaints about a mile long for this series, but when they do things right, they do them damn right. Plus all the inherent strengths of Batman makes it a series very much worth watching.
