multi reznor

Link Thread Closed
I'd like to make reznor a differenent color for each reznor on the carasol. How could I do this?
Well, you could change the palette in YY-CHR, but then you would change all the Reznor's colors. So I don't even think that it's possible.
Maybe you can change the palette in Lunar Magic to change the color of the reznor. However, then other things may be affected if you change the palette.
Without ASM it is impossible. If you know ASM and know the Reznor ASM code, you could just change the draw routines to point to a new palette for each Reznor.Working on something!

Better than the cape!

Well then... this sucks! So the only possible way I could do this is if I got someone withe ASM knoledge to edit it for me... that being the case... anybody up for the job?
Maybe you could google for an ASM tutorial of something. I suck at ASM and am a total noob at it. I don't even know what it is.
same here

Anyways, to help you out with this, there are several ASM tutorials around the site. Schwa's ASM tutorial is stickied in Advanced SMW Hacking, and is rather easy to understand - however, start with some basic things and don't try to dive into something too advanced right from the get-go - work your way up with practice. You can find Ersanio's ASM tutorial in the documents section. (You may also want to grab a debugger, and definitely get xkas.) There's also a complete disassembly of SMW floating around out there, but it's not 100% labeled.

If you can not figure out how to do this on your own, you are more than welcome to ask in the ASM request thread.

Just look above you...
If it's something that can be stopped, then just try to stop it!
