I learned how to insert custom music into SMW, but for some reason, one of the songs doesn't work, even when the others do. It's a level song, so I inserted it as #21, and I used a clean ROM. Just in case it helps, the song is Sonic 2 Chemical Plant or something like that.

Well, if only that song is having issues, then there's a problem with the txt file. I'm not much of a music person, so what I'd do is re-download the faulty song and try installing it again. If that doesn't work, then open the notepad file and try to find and fix any errors in the first few lines of the code (the lines that assign instruments and volume).
That's about as much as I can help, so helpfully that resolves your problem or somebody can hopefully help you further

Well, I don't know anything about music code, and redownloading didn't help. I read in the song info that an N-SPC patch is required. What the heck is that?
