Army of One- A few levels of preview

So after I got bored with The Unworld, I started contemplating a new idea for a hack with much longer, more complicated levels. I also tried creating a story line that was all new, at least all new from what I have heard of, and I got this-

It's only been a few months since Bowser's troops have overtook us, and already I feel that we are done for. Not hearing from him in months, and with the princess perfectly undisturbed, we thought Bowser was still off moping about his thwarted attempt at controlling the universe. But we were wrong. One day, hundred of airships came out of no where, wreaking havoc on towns and cities... But what came next... They had specific airships that... had freezing cannons... They froze the crops, THE MUSHROOMS! They froze many of them, killing them, and then what they didn't destroy, they used brute force to capture all of the fields... We have virtually no supplies in a destroyed land...

Mario is practically powerless now, and we must bring in a seasoned war veteran, who does not need mushrooms to survive... I only hope that Hario will be able to save us.

Yeah, it may have already been done, but the point is that I have never heard of it, so you can't yell at me for that.

A couple of videos. This is the second mission, it is my favorite of all of the ones I have made.

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/-7C1EXPmIjk&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/-7C1EXPmIjk&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

Yeah, there are definitely several ways to have skipped some of the items that you needed to get, but I did not have time before C3 (time between when I noticed the problems and when C3 started)

Here is another one, and a quick heads up on two problems and an explanation you may want to know-
-There is a background garbage layer towards the very end of t he video, it will be fixed before anything else. I had tried all of the BG initial setting, but I still got a garbage layer.

-Yoshi is in an area with a castle tileset at one point, so there are some bad graphics there, but I did not fix anything as of yet, since the level design demands a yoshi to reach the end, any suggestions on how I could make it something different?

-The part with the "Labrynth Zone" ExGFX is like going through a secret tunnel underground into the castle, but everybody else who watched the video seemed to get that.

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/DV9_PRIQm04&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/DV9_PRIQm04&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

And now here is my second favorite mission so far, arguably the best, but I could see why you would not think that.

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/X4q_of1QOzQ&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/X4q_of1QOzQ&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

Yeah, there are bound to be a plethora of complaints from people, seeing as how one person found so much stuff with The Unwolrd that I and my beta tester failed to catch, and this is the very starting of this project, so, I can only hope for the best of what you say now, and say that it can only get better over time.

Oh yeah, and ignore the fact that Mario is completely unchanged, that was not on my list of priorities for C3, but maybe it should have been?
Oh, it is so on.
im glad you started a hack that doesnt have only bad palletes. Looks good!
I saw this on youtube maybe a few weeks ago, and some people say it is too difficult. It is easier then Kaizo, and looks very enjoyable.
Just back here to browse a bit.

I don't think that it is, I mean TSRP2 was pretty difficult, more hard than this I think.
Oh, it is so on.
Looks Good,
I'm assuming The FIreball and Baseball with have bullet graphics and go straight forward to support the Army feel more.

i really liked the sonic and Super Mario RPG music.

Yeah, all of those details will be edited, along with mario (to not be mario), but not this early in the developing.

To keep that garbage from appearing, you'll need to move the entrance up or down a screen. This will probably be a pain though, because that would make the other entrances on a screen that gets garbage. You're probably going to have to add a screen to the level or take one away in between the two entrances.
