You made the Hammer and Boomerangs? Holy shit dude, that's absolutely, positively, and undoubtedly awesome. Now let's see how much time it takes until we see this get abused... like every other awesome sprite out there. *points to sky pop* So, is there any way to make it look like Mario is holding the boomerang, or will this remain an impossibility?

The hammers are perfect, and the boomerang just needs a slight adjustment (faster speed or shorter distance). Great work. :]
Like other people said, the Boomerang Needs Adgusting,
Possibly making it into a carryable item like a P-switch That has Custom Movement.
Something I'm too lazy to try out; does the boomerang act like a shell, with exponential points for each enemy killed with the same throw?
Hmm... the Hammersprite doesn't look correct at my hack...
but this doesn't matter, great work IBC :)
Can the hammer kill Thwomps and Boos like in SMB3? And that boomerang wouldn't end up in your Zelda game, would it?

make sure you insert the GFX I included.

RPG,
If it is set to be killed by blocks and stars, it can be killed by the hammer or boomerang, so yes, because the thwomp can be killed by a star.

To adjust how far the boomerang goes, play with the timers at the top of the ASM file.

Yes, I want to include the boomerang in my Zelda hack. I actually have a version that goes straight out and follows Link after it turns around, just like the classic version, but it's pointless if I can't get it to stun enemies. Setting the status of the enemy to stunned doesn't work because it messes up the GFX.

Hmm... Very, very nice! I love C3, there are so many great ideas here =D I like it, but I'm going to stick with the fire flower only for my hack, I like the classics =P

Even though I inserted the GFX, the Hammer power up has glitched graphics. The thrown hammers however have fine graphics. Did I miss something?

This is really awesome, ICB - I feel so excited about being able to use these in my game.

I have a few questions - please bear in mind I've been really busy this weekend, so I've not had a chance to peak at the asm yet:

1) I assume changing the palette of the power-up and the projectiles only requires changing the value in the cfg files of both, right?

2) Changing the tilemap for these is as simple as changing the tiles in the asm, right?

3) How could one go about having these power-ups have Mario/Luigi change to their fire palettes? Or does that cause issues when they "power up/down?"

Was I the only one that noticed that he got 400, then 4,000 points with one throw of the boomer?

I guess that's not that big a deal, what with it being a one level power up.
