I've bebn working on this project for I while and there has been progress. I was also gonna release a few Exgfx sets but decided at the last minute to hold on to them until the hack was done and they can be finalized...
Anyways...here are some pics:
Now like the last game, the hack will be one giant level, but if you beat it, you will unlock Expert mode!
And finally if you get though that, you will unlock the real ending. I wont say much about it except...
Rainbow Road anyone?
Also for who ever was wondering, I was going to release the rainbow road, and the hatless Mario gfx set but I want to perfect it a bit first. ;)

Looks good! I see Mario without his hat in some of those screens, does he lose it whenever he gets hit?

Wow lightvayne. I've been waiting for this hack and i still am! I remember when you were going to make this a sort of 3d-ish type thing, but going to 2d is fine. It still looks sexy.

I must say, I am really loving the Rainbow Road graphics. They look amazing, as does the rest of the screenshots. I like the idea of one long level. It's too bad that SMW is limited in how many checkpoints you use.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to this. Great job!
