I am wanting to make custom bosses for the koopa kids, because I feel they are overused. My question lies in changing the first, Iggy. I have taken the Mouser custom sprite and redid the graphics to where Iggy's works with it. That part is done; however, I do not want him to throw bombs. Ideally he should throw balls similar to those that Lemmy, I think, threw in SMB3. How would one go about changing what the Mouser sprite throws into a different sprite other than the bomb. I am sure it is a simple task, but my knowledge of asm and sprite creating is limited currently. Thank you.

Any sprite that generates another has to store something to either $9E or $7FAB9E so search for that in the ASM file and change the value stored .i.e.
You'd change the "$01" portion to the sprite # of choice.

Thank you, now I can make this and others more customizable.
Ummm, well that doesn't exactly fix what I am trying to do. There seems to be some coding in the Mouser Sprite that causes whatever sprite it throws to act like a bomb. Upon changing the sprite I get something that acts like a bomb still, but crashes the game at the time the bomb should blow up. Any thoughts?

This is a good topic. I'm trying to learn ASM to be able to switch the graphics. I figured out how to switch the graphic palettes on pre-made sprites and customize my pre-made sprites to an extent.
