also, my desktop is pretty much vanilla xubuntu with a seamonkey window open. Nothing special. too lazy to post screenshot.

The little things in the corners are Gadgets for non Window 7 users, and yes that IS IWBTG in my taskbar

Nice desktop. Looks like you have that hex editor open, too. I think it's called transhexiton or something like that.
On a random note, the text in your layout is hard to see. Try using a darker transparent image for you post box.
