It considers you online if you've done something during the last five minutes. I don't know how much the Logout button does.
Well, I'm guessing it just clears your login cookie or whatever.
Links move downwards in one sentence with a smiley, like this:

aaaaaaaaaaa :P aaaaagagagaqjqjqjqjqjblblblblblb

Also, it only works with no layout, if i dont disable layout, it looks normal.
I see nothing wrong with that link. I can see that smilies are higher than the other text, but that's the only oddity I can find.
Alcaro, this is how they appear to me(in Chrome):

Looks like issue in WebKit. It seems it was already reported: https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=62421.

In short, post cell contains valign="top" which aligns content of cell to the top (vertical-align:top), but for some reason it's inherited in WebKit for text inside the table. On text elements, vertical-align:top has different effect, it makes text appear on level of top of images.

But there is also something - in WebKit elements without valign imply default vertical-align:baseline. It's OK, unless there is something in table cell which isn't in some tag.

Now... another example...

:P testroomoftestbecauseilikeit (some words are in <span>)

I will never understand why valign="top" is there in first place - it's default for table cells.

It doesn't happen with layouts just because layouts use some kind of container, usually <div> or <table>.

No it isn't. "middle" is default.

Wow I guess... Kieran probably disabled them for some or other reason but... Eh... We'll see...
Minor bug. Fixed.
On a somewhat related note, is there any way the Code boxes can have automatic line breaks/padding added to them? I say this now because many people who post sections of music text files either put them in Code boxes without any line breaks (causing massive table-stretching) or post their music as post text. This makes it look like:

o3c8<d8>f8><f4g4d8
<c1...

...etc. It's something that's always bugged me about Code boxes, which is why I rarely use them.

I think IE does it that way because Microsoft's standards are out of date. Last time they updated that was when Netscape was bigger than Firefox, though I'm probably wrong, (like with the absolute maximum BP you can have in Paper Mario being 31)

No, that should never, ever be done. There is a reason code boxes don't have line breaks, it's because they are to be used FOR CODE. You do not want word wrapping to randomly show up in one of your lines of code. Code boxes are there so that what you write comes out exactly as you put it down, every single time. This has been brought up numerous times.

You're thinking of quirks mode (aka ten-year-old mode). We left that many months ago.

I disagree with code boxes not needing wrapping (at least set overflow-x to something so they won't stretch the tables), but it's not my website.
Some kind of scroll bar is fine for code boxes, but linewrapping is bad because it can cause confusion when copying code that wraps around.
At least 90% of the code around here is ASM, and stretchy ASM is very rare.
Among the stretchy stuff, music data (which ignores whitespace) and ROM/RAM addresses (which fits much better in quote tags) are the most common.
The ASM itself is not stretchy, but comments can be very stretchy at times. If a comment changes lines and gets copied, it will throw an error that the person you are sending it to may not understand.

Then again, copying stuff directly from code tags doesn't work regardless, since all the line breaks disappear.
Only if you use firefox. Both chrome and IE handle them as you would expect.
Actually, you know what? Code boxes won't help music porters at all. Here:

Attack of the Gooeys ho!

What we need is a different textbox code for music. [Music], or something like that. I know it would be a sizeable task, but music porters would highly benefit from it.
