Tip: Linear levels aren't necessarily a bad thing. After all, most official Mario levels are fairly linear.

Here is my overworld for my demo I just released.

I'm not that good at making overwolds but it's worth a try! :)

Looks nice.
Please do not worry about "cuttnes from ledge'' because ITS HOW ITS SUPOOSED TO LOOK. Look back into anitikis hacks.
he had the same thing.
It isn't a square-ish Overworld, but those bases look weird...
But's still cutoff, SMY64. I don't renember seeing that in Anitiki's hacks but oh well, if you say...

And the OW looks a bit plain, without any elevation or something, but it's nicely decorated. Also, you forgot to put some corner tiles... And the cliffs looks weird, as stated above. You could at least made the cliffs one tile big. You can also do a little pallete tweak.. I'm tired of seeing the standard SMW color for the overworlds... but that's just me, it's not an issue/error/etc.

EDIT: Hey, that's the well-know 666th post ;)

Hmm... this hack looks fun to play. I can't wait for it to be released, but like Shinnok said, it's still cutoff and you might need to fix that.

You Need to Fix this.
The tileset you are using does not support edges. You have to fix you ledges so that a new piece of land starts everytime you change the height of your land.

Also, you should take into consideration moving some of your cloud tiles to the north of your map. Why don't you try spreading them out over the landscape? That would look better.
OKAY LOOK

I HATE TO YELL BUT I HAVE NO LEDGE TILES FOR SCREENSHOT #3!!!!!!

also, that is NOT my overworld.
