DarthRiko: If that is your opinion, fine, but don't go as far as to insult the staff. Not all of the staff here HAVE to do something for the community to be considered helpful. It sounds like you are mad at the people you mentioned (ghettoyouth, Bio) because of one thread in which they didn't agree with you in. Don't get me wrong, I didn't view the thread, but from what I read, that's what it sounds like.
Both of these people have done so much for the site, and are very, very knowledgable. Without them, the Advanced SMW Hacking forum would be pretty screwed up. And let's not forget Bio's new HDMA kit he's making for the community, which is looking beautiful right now.
I have nothing more to say on this.

I've seen a lot of internet forums, and this IS in fact one of the most tame/stable ones I've seen. Don't even ask me which ones are worse than here. A good portion of GameFAQs (the active forums, at least) is pretty bad, and the official World of Warcraft forums are PLAGUED TO DEATH by trolls/flame wars/spam and a lack of admins to keep it under control. I could name more sites that could use a leash (hint: one starts with a number), but you probably know which ones I'd name.
It's generally (but not always) human nature, this "mob mentality" thing, to do something just because everyone else is, but I'm sure no one here meant to aggravate you. Most members of SMW Central learn from their mistakes. We're all sorry.
But, DarthRiko, this day will pass, and things will get better. I have really bad days like this too, but eventually you'll forget all about it. I'm glad you're going to stay at SMW Central, and you're going to help polish it up. It'll never be perfect, but it will get better.
EDIT: If this is tl;dr, what I'm trying to say is: SMW Central is better off than most other forums, but not perfect. Someone should close this thread and bury it under a rock in Siberia before the sun rises. *Gives DarthRiko a flame shield anyways* I hope you feel better soon.

First things first. Users are allowed to have an opinion, so noone will get banned. Of course, this would be different if it was just some random user saying "THIS SIET SUX LOLOL!!1!".
@DarthRiko: Anyway. I disagree with you on 3 things.
First of all, just because some of our users are retarded, it doesn't mean that the site fails. We got almost 30000 posts in less than 2 months, and I consider that quite successful.
Second, don't talk bad about my staff team. They all have their functions. They are also what I would call "trusted users", meaning users that I know are not stupid. Because of this, they are more free to post what they want. Even if it's crap. The same would go for any user who had shown himself/herself to be intellegent.
And yes. I can control you. As long as you are on my site, you will follow my rules. Don't like? Don't stay.
Third, as already stated. The World of Insanity serves as some kind of spam filter (read the forum description). I made it because I believe that it will help preventing crappy threads from popping up in the other forums.
EDIT: Also, we, as many other Internet communities, have our enemies. They might be filling the site up with stupidity, but it will never make the site fail. This is why we have mods and admins.

DarthRiko, I feel you on the freedom of speech but thats a little over board. I may not know Bio and Ghettoyouth in real life but they are good people. Ghettoyouth gives me stuff before it he releases it, and trust me. I have great respect for him because he helped me and many other people. Bio, is a great ASM hacker. Look hes making and easy HDMA editor and helping people like Ayoshi on their hack. Without him we might not even have some of the stuff we have now. Yeah, so what? If they don't agree with you then thats fine. It happens all the time in real life when you discussing decisions about thing. Also you think the spam, flame, and we super retarded, why don't you take a look around. We are actually pretty successful, and have less spammers. People here try to help others even though they are stupid, go anywhere else you get flamed for asking any type of question. The staff members are all helpers, even though it may not seem like it. They contributed greatly and have done a lot. You saything this really makes me sad and mad. I thought you were a good person, which at time you are. Yes we have retarted members like Troopa Pride who don't know how to keep things to them selves, but this..is just sad. If you don't like it this much, then why come here? I see no point in coming if you have all these bad things to say DarthRiko. Try to find something good about this site, which is alot. You want proof of a failing community? go to www.cheatengine.org and go to their forums. After go to the MapleStory forums and ask how can you learn to hack. See what happens.

1. I did overreact a bit, but it all is still true
2. it isn't meant to insult people, but to state where the site is going wrong
3. I knew when I posted the message that I would not be banned, because, like Kieran said, I am not a retard that says "Oh, teh site sux." I actually had content.
4. The re-reg wasn't me, as Tatrion has already stated. I don't break rules anymore, at least sense the breif banning a month or two ago.
5. You don't need ASM to make a good game.
6. There is a difference between dissagreement, and idiocrac insults.
7. Yes, this site is better than most, if not all, but it can still be better,
8. internoob and Troopa Pride fail horribly.
9. can we stay on topic?
10. when making my mind on the matter I didn't consider the stupid one time spammers.
11. this is more than just the flag and religion topics.
12. there is a difference between an opinion, and inulting someone for not sharing it.
13. by saying "the rest either don't post or are retarded" means that the ones that don't post I don't have an opinion on, and therefore cannot find anything to whitch to call them retarded with. In other words, the ones that don't post, are NOT retarded.

But this is not the only site that has spammers and flamers. Im pretty sure if you go to another site with a good majority of people you will find many banned users and spam topics.
