OK WTH is HDMA? I just know, that it make something with the pallete, but:

-How do you use it?
-Is this Hex ASM or what(or something "new"?)
Here is a pic for example(of course not my hack^^)


The fog is the HDMA, but ...I need a good explanation what it is :3
Hdma is used to alter graphic settings or features while the screen is rendered on a per-scanline basis, whatever that means, and you can install its effects with the HDMA kit in the tools section. Or with the HDMA patch in the patches section. Your choice. Each one has its own benefits and setbacks. Its effects include the color gradients like in the screenshot, different BG scrolling effects, and some wavy effects on the FG and BG. I hope that helped.
