You Do Already Have The NPC's Inserted Into the Game, Right?

If So, Just Think About What level The NPC Is On. They Act Just Like Regular Message Blocks, In That They Use The 1 Of 2 Messages That Are Able To Be Used In A Level. Just Open The Overworld Editor Up, And Click On The Button That Looks Like A Message Block, And Look For The Level That the NPC Is Placed On, And Change The Text For Either The First Message Or The Second One.

(Which Ever One The NPC Is Set To Use)

Note: The Extra Info Will Have To Be Set To 2 Or 3 When Placed On The Level, Or The NPC Will Not Function Properly.

I Think If The "Extra Info" Box Is Set To 2, The NPC Will Use Message #1 Of That Level.

And If The "Extra Info" Box is Set To 3, Then The NPC Will Use Message #2 Of The Level.

Hope This Helps!

It uses the message of level 10X where X is the X position of the npc-sprite, i think. In levels under FF it is level 24 + X position or something.
