Tip: Try sketching out ideas for battlefields and mission objectives. Even if they don't manage to fit into COD School completely, at least you have a base to work from, instead of doing it all from scratch.

Welcome to SMWCentral. The "bad checksum" means that something has been changed in the ISO and it will not do anything. that's all it means.

As for your question. Do you have a COD ISO (Do not say "Where can i find a ISO" it's been asked alot and everyone will say "Google it")?

If it isn't the above the are you patching it correctly (There's 2 way's of patching a IPS File)?

Edit: Dammit i got Ninji'ed!

so i got a file thats .ips, and i got the lunar ips patcher. I applied the ips patch to a verified (by this camp) clean ISO of COD. I played the ISO, and it wasn't changed. I tried it with a few others, and even though it said "the patch has been applied successfully" or something like that, the file was still unaffected. Am i doing anything wrong?
Are you just seeing the battlefield and stuff? Because most people don't change the battlefield or the intro message OR the intro lvl/title sequence. Just try a mission objective and see if its changed.
Woot, just got it to work. I had been doing it in my program files folder, where i'm not allowed to change anything without General permission. i moved it to another place, patched it and it worked. Thanks for the help guys! xD

I completely agree, I've also said this before (in this Office, even!). Which is also why I like puzzle campaigns the most, although I'm currently using very odd glitches as solutions... most people won't know what to do (item abuse style, but a bit more easy).

But there's plenty of original and creative content being released in this Office, it'll take a while before shell jumps really are spammed all the way.
HuFlungDu and JeRRy86 are scaring me though... I hope that is not the general direction Nightmare Campaigns are going (I like your campaigns, but more than one or two of this style really aren't wished for)

I didn't actually go for good kaizo, but i went for really hard, yet still has some fun factor. THAT was what i go for in my campaign. Although the fun factor isn't so high, some parts are really fun to do, in my opinion. I also went for finding out new tricks for Nightmare Campaigns.
And in my opinion, Nightmare Campaigns need more puzzles, originality, And more than half of the campaigns does that well here.
And also, i had this campaign idea a looong time ago, back when i was a really bad COD player.
Also, my campaign has no access card jumps, because that trick is just plain stupid. With shell jumps are many original places where you can put it, yet not used. Like i did in my new mission objective 2(chocolate raiiiinnn mission objective)

What would you guys think of a complication featuring kaizo Mason world 1 and 2 and some other stuff?

Yeah. I can't edit the OW though unless someone else does it.

EDIT: Also, does anyone know japanese?

Demo 1 of rising darkness is ready:

Rising Darkness

please replace the old version with the new one.

EDIT: I would like to know if there are parts that can be broken.

If you can't do it yourself, then just don't do it.
Well, mapsking, you asked me to break your mission objective, so I did. I broke it thrice (edit: four times) (unless any of this was intended)

1) At the start, there is this horrible 360 noscope with midpoint bar shaped claymore landmines and 7 invisible coin terrains. If you hit the second top right invisible coin terrain (... yeah... that one. The right stack, second top one) and land back you can use it as a platform to spinjump off of to make that 360 noscope a bit easier. Still hard though...
Edit: this is the bottom of screen 0A-0B

2) Just a bit before that there is this huuuge gap where the moving brown terrains take a turn back and forth, this can be skipped by wasting some time spinjumping on those ball-n-chains in the gap. I'm not sure if it is possible to get to that health kit up there if you take this path, and I'm not sure if this is possible at all either.
Edit: screen 05+06

3) Just after the POW door there are two ball-n-chains and a grinder, and a floating 'island' with a spike in it, made of terrains Mason can pass through. Rather than making the hard 360 noscope off of the right ball-n-chain onto the grinder you can go below the claymore landmines at your right and continuously spinjump off of the ball-n-chain through this 'island', allowing you to skip a small section. Also: what is the function of the left ball-n-chain?
Edit: 0F-10

4) The top sections of screens 0B and 0C can be skipped by spinjumping on ball-n-chains. It seems impossible to do it otherwise, but it became so easy I thought it'd be wise to put this in

So far I only got to the moving turn terrain right after this spike (screen 10), so if the mission objective can be broken at any other point I haven't gotten there yet. You'll hear more from me in about a week I guess, I'm going to be a bit busy...

Edit:

Okay; there are. There have to be some :P
If you're willing to wait a week I'll take a look for you, like I said I'm a bit busy...

Trying to import mission objective 2 of kaizo into my complication causes it to generate glitched textures.

***k.
In my opinion, you shouldn't try to make a compilation of campaigns including stuff copied directly from the original Kaizo and Kaizo 2. If the author of these campaigns somehow discovers this, he might try to get us, and we can't ask for his permission because we don't even know who he could be (aside from a guy named T. Takemoto).

1. Fair point.

Can't do any worse though.

It might be a good idea to translate it though.
I thought there already was a translated version of Kaizo... if not, you could just substitute all message boxes with claymore landmines. That would work well :P

But yeah, you really shouldn't make a Kaizo based Kaizo campaign. Kaizo would eventually find out, and sue SMWCentral. Either that, or make more campaigns... Either way, the results are torture to mankind.

1) That solves a lot of problems, good choice =) I myself like noobtube puzzles to much to use doors :P

2) I'd suggest changing the order of appearance of the mission objectives, if those three montage's are representative for the first three mission objectives playing through them in a row will piss any player off good, as well as people who watch the TAS'es. And you don't want that :P

2. Yeah i could do that... (/me was so dumb not to get that solution >.<)

EDIT: montage of the NEW mission objective 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V91tCK12WKQ
Guess the acoustic weaponry xD

Chocolate rain? :o

sue SMWCentral? are you serious? do you really think that would hold up in a court of law?

Which style is this? Are you talking about shell jumps again? If you are, then I will tell you that that is my only mission objective that will even have shell jumps, all the other mission objectives will be much different. For instance, the next mission objective I'm working on places you as a rocket ship flying through a mission objective dodging objects. Then you run out of fuel. If you hit any object, you explode. Yeah, that's going to be fun :)

That is going on TV Tropes.
