Tip: Make sure you can beat your own levels without savestates, slowdown, or rewinding.

Yeah, I just got that to work. It happens in ZSNES when you use savestates for some reason. I loaded a state from when I was testing earlier (no glitch), then it did appear.

Well I can get THAT to happen without savestates. That happens after I kill lakitu once. I can tell you killed lakitu because he isn't touching the HDMA gradient.

When I played through I didn't use any savestates(except for 8-3, that still gets to me). The glitch that happened to me was there from the beginning of the level to the end, and I didn't kill lakitu. But, now it doesn't happen, so it's no issue.

Apparently, SMAS music has been hacked :

But Peter_ac (original video creator) said he used Addmusic.

I got confused.

I talked to him a week ago or so, and he said that it's actually a WIP tool and didn't work on it for quite a while now.
you've made this since, 2007, and your not finished it yet?
Good things take time. Just be patient.

As minda said good things take time. How long did you think Lunar Magic tokk to make? ¬¬

Anyway I think the editor seems to be good apart from that lakitu glitch thing. Good luck on this!
how do you even use it though, i dont even understand what you edit the levels with?
You'll be able to edit the levels with the editor, when it comes out... which brings us right back where we started.

FuSoYa Started in February 2000 and finished September the same year. How long has SWR been working on MushROMs?
Some people take longer/shorter amounts of time with stuff, it doesn't matter. He'll finish when he finishes.
now i know you guys are lieing, because imm seeing smb1 hacksw on youtube, i dont like lies
They aren't lying.
The people who made the hacks on youtube used a hex editor.

Yes, because it's totally a conspiracy among members of SMWC to lie to you about the existence of a completed SMAS SMB1 editor, which could easily be Googled.

However, isn't there a person who used an SMB1 editor to make levels in SMB1, and then imported them into SMAS?

ROM hacking isn't restricted to level editors only.
I leave for Anime Expo and come back to this?
The graphical glitch is I dunno.
I'm taking forever cuz I'm unmotivated a lot. If you know other SMAS hackers that program and want to take free time to build an editor, ask them.
The level hacks are mine. I go by outragious on Youtube before I came up with my current name.
Ersan: hater! Nah.If you can ban people from threads, that'd be an awesome feature. =P

Seriously though. Thanks guys for looking hard and finding any errors. And thanks for those not rushing me.

What was it you said about hosting RAM and ROM maps for SMAS? Why not use this thread?
Next time you need a MushROMs Tester, I'd be happy to test it for you SWR.
This looks awesome! I would be willing to help in any way I can (although that's not much). Let me know when the SMB1 portion is released. I am curious to see your progress on the SMB2 and SMB3 portion. Also, will it be possible to hack all five games in SMAS+W (because I think LM can edit the SMW portion)?
It will be able to open LM. Actually, it already can.
I don't think he's going to add an smw editor directly in this one, though.
Some good news: I fixed the bug in the ExGFX ASM hack. Just neglected to push/pull a used value, so that's taken care of now.

I can finally move on to finishing the even worse Levels ASM hack. D:
