I don't exactly mean more than two messages per level.
I have one level where the player starts on (Level 04), which has a message block in it, and another level which is accessed via Warp Pipe (Level 05), which also has a message block in it.
When I access Level 05 from the Warp Pipe in Level 04, the message block in there displays the dialogue from Level 04 instead of Level 05, which I assume is because it's the level that you started on.
Would there be any way to get it so that when I enter Level 05 from an exit in Level 04, it displays the messages for Level 05 instead of Level 04?...

No. You're going to have to use the custom block from the blocks section that allows you to read from the right level.

Well, set the message block from the second level to be message 2, then set the message for level 4 message block #2. Since you only have two MSGBLKS in the level.

Or maybe you could make a custom sprite/block which changes the level number (e.g. LDA #$05 STA $13BF when in level 05). It might not work though.

@Maxx: I feel like an idiot for not looking the custom blocks section for this first, considering that's the first place I went for things that couldn't be done with custom blocks. That does exactly what I wanted.
