Does anyone know where to get the smb3 chain chomp sprite?
Erm, look through the Sprite Tool thread at the old board.
I know there is a Sidestepper (crab) sprite in Sprite Tool, but are there any ExGFX for it? I didn't see any.
There aren't any GFX for it, You have to make them yourself. If it helps, it x-flips while walking and has the normal and faster frames, and uses the to tile used by the hopping flame.

I looked up the post, and they got it with Sprite Tool. I just downloaded 1.34 and it doesn't have the sprite or the gfx. Is it from an older version?

EDIT: I was looking under the wrong thread with a similar name. Thank you thank you thank you these are the best sprites ever!!!

No, look earlier in the thread. Its seperate from a Sprite Tool version and mentioned a little after Version 1.25.

Get a SMAS ROM and open it in YY-CHR, the Mario Bros. Crab GFX are right at the bottom... along with some more interesting GFX...
How can you make a block in blocktool that gives an item only if it is hit before a certain time?
I'm having some problem with the Mushblk.

I inserted it into the game by following the
directions but when I pick it up, it turns into
a spring board? I don't know what I did wrong.
I'm having some trouble with the Mushroom block, too. It doesn't seem to change back in to block form when it gets set down on Layer 2. Is there a way to fix that?

TLMB: Did you set the sprite number in hex?
I'm not sure what you mean Sparx...
I mean did you open the block file (.bin) with a hex editor and change byte 0x15 (originally 87) to the number you put the custom sprite as?

What is the "squash" custom sprite cfg file in Sprite Tool?

Also, which is better to use - regular piranha plants, or HDMA-friendly ones? I really don't know the difference.
It doesn't matter, unless you have HDMA in your hack. then use HDMA one.

Yes, i tried that, but when i inserted the second sprite, the first turned into a fuzzy falling from the sky...
