Oh. Well, I'll wait until you've fixed that up.

You know, there is a stickied ExGFX tutorial in the N00b SMW Hacking board that could probably help you. And about the player GFX, I'm guessing you you are supposed to replace GFX33 with the one you want to use.

Is there a way to edit a sprite for just one level?

Yes. Edit the graphics, save them as ExGFX, and insert them in the level of choice. (I'm assuming you mean the graphics of the sprite, not the behaviour...)

I'm not really sure what you mean... Just edit the graphics you want to look different, and leave the other ones alone... For example, if you want the Koopa to look different, edit the Koopa graphics.

And then just insert it?

Yes. Though remember to save the edited graphics file as ExGFX, so you won't overwrite the original graphics.

Really? Thanks! But, I know how to insert the ExGFX. It just doesn't turn out good.
EDIT: How do I replace GFX33?

Are you inserting it into the right slot?

I'm inserting it into the ExGFX folder. I renamed it and everything.
All it does is mess up all of the sprites in the area. Atleast, the koopas. Since I already put them in. The rest are fine. . . I think. . . Anyways, how do you insert the GFX? I know that you use The Super Mushroom and The 1-up Mushroom, but, how do I change it to GFX33?

Rename the relevant graphics file to GFX33.bin, place it in the Graphics folder (replacing the original GFX33), and then open LM and press the green mushroom button.

Well, I have AllGFX. . . I don't think I can replace it. How do I seperate the GFX?

Uncheck "Use Joined GFX Files" in LM's Options menu, and then reextract the graphics.

How can I see where I need to edit things for a sprite to let it look right?

Howdy, folks. Maybe someone can help me out with this problem with spritetool.
I've followed the readme and all the tutorials I've found, but they don't seem to deal with this. Spritetool successfully inserts the sprites to my rom. I've inserted the ExGFX and the show up fine in the 8x8 tile editor. Inserted the custom sprites using a 2 or 3 as needed. As near as I can tell, everything is fine in Lunar Magic.
Yet, when I play the rom, the new sprites don't show up at all. No graphics, no interaction, no nothing. Any ideas?

um this might sound stupid of me to ask, but did you save the level to your rom?
