When I re-inserted custom sprites into my hack,levels with custom music wont start or some of the instruments is 8-bit.
I downloaded the new spritetool so why is this happening??!?

Er, there are still a few issues if you don't do things right.

My suggestion: Get a new Rom and put in music. Put in sprites and test. If it works move everything to that Rom. (Please note music must be INITed before inserting sprites.)

Using ExGFX to paste the tiles over the GFX it uses and saving as an ExGFX file, then inserting it in the same SP slot in the level you want the GFX to be.
Anybody knows how to make the Poison Mushroom use palette F?
Well, it uses D by default, I know that I'm supposed to use tweaker to change it, but I mean the MAIN sprite, it gets really annoying when inserting sprites, it's palette changes back to D, I want it to use palette F for ever...
whenever i try to insert the bully sprite w sprite tool it says the rom must be expanded.the rom size is 513kb.so whats the problem? its also the only sprite on the list.
Open a level in you ROM with Lunar Magic, move an object and then save. Then try inserting with spritetool again.

Is there a way for a sprite say for example a boomerang bro to throw a boomerang that's not the next sprite after the boomerang bro? I'm using the buckethead custom sprite that shoots snowballs and I substituted the sumo brother for the buckethead and the next sprite after the sumo is the flying hammer bro.

Is it possible to change custom sprites with tweaker? If it is, how do you find the custom sprite?
You use the CFG_editor that comes with Sprite Tool and re-insert your sprites.
So tweaker and CFG_editor are 2 different tools? I thought it was just a renamed tweaker, as it had the same icon, so I threw it away. Damn, guess I have re-download sprite tool. Thanks.

Moral of the story, never assume things without testing them.....
How can I make it so my Classic Goombas will be killed from Mario sliding under them, without him bouncing off of them? Right now, when Mario slides down a hill and hits a Goomba, he will bounce, instead of sliding under the Goomba and killing it. I really want Mario to be able to make a clean slide under, unless there is a reason for him not to do so. I looked at the CFG Editor for Sprite Tool, but didn't see any options for what I am looking for.
Jere's my question: Do the folowing sprites require a certain sprite setting to work best?

I F**k up bad. I was trying to make a friendly Birdo that spits eggs that hurt other sprites and not Mario. After putting it back in sprite tool and into my rom. My hack went kaput........

Should I ask how to make this type of Birdo in the Sprite Request section? It will never get answered if I did......
Actually, BB Link, I was wanting something similar to your Birdo - a friendly Birdo that doesn't hurt Mario and can spit rideable eggs that also don't hurt Mario. Sounds like pretty similar requests, so maybe we can double up on that.
how do i use yy-chr? when i edit the graphics the only thing that shows up changed is the ___ presents screen.
