I don't have a screenshot, but I can tell you what to do:
  1. Make a savestate in the level you want to rip the graphics/palette from.
  2. Open this savestate in a hex editor.
  3. At $1113, select a block 0x200 bytes in width, and copy it.
  4. Go to $618 and paste what you just copied, overwriting the data there.
If you followed these steps, you should be able to view the graphics with the correct palette when you open the savestate in YY-CHR.

@Mattrizle: I just copy some bytes from offset 1113 and paste it in 618?
My On/Off OFF ONLY kill block only hurts me, and acts like a ? block. It is set to act like tile 25...

Why would this happen?
Okay, I've read the ReadMe and another guide I found on this site for BlockTool.

Basically, my problem is that I'm getting the "Lunar Magic ASM hacks not installed, please save at least one level in LM".

Here are the steps I've taken:

Opened the ROM (which has three levels saved, including Overworld edits) in both LM and BlockTool.
Found the tile in the Map16 editor that I wanted, converted it from Hex to Decimal in the calculator.
Found the block in BlockTool and inserted the decimal number for the tile, hit add, then try to save.

I get that message.
What's wrong?

Edit: Nevermind, fixed by deleting the ROM's SRM file. >_o

I am making a Micro-Goomba that takes up about 1/4 of a 16x16 tile (one 8x8 tile?). What would be a good sprite clipping table offset to use in CFG Editor for something this small?

the electricity sprite that comes with spritetool has GFX?, I've
search it in the tilemaps folder but there is no electricity GFX.


In this image, what is wrong with my dead Super Koopa? There is some weird white garbage that wasn't in any of the Koopa tiles that I edited. What GFX file and tile does the dead Super Koopa use? Thanks!

How do you change mario and luigi's colours?
My hack is doing fine so far. About 60% completed...
They use Palette 8. Edit the colors of Palette 8. But some colors of Palette 8 are used by other things, so be careful.

I'm trying to add the custom coin block to my hack, I type in the offsets in the readme but the problem I'm having is the reloc offsets which are 1d,21,1ca,72. Do I need to type them all in or only one? I'm trying to add the 3 coin block.
