I guess I seen people having problems with this tool. So I decided to make a tutorial of it. Watch it here.

I just finished adding VisualBoyAdvance SGM support. Tell me if it has any problems or if I broke something else during the process of getting it to work.
Some GBA BGs use more than 8 palettes and can not be ripped. Some others still use a lot of palettes, so for the most part you probably don't want to rip a Kirby's Nightmare in Dreamland BG, as most of them use 8 palettes.
Next comes Genesis support.
EDIT: I just fixed a bug that's been there for a while that has to do with ripping BGs that have over 4 palettes.

Wait...
If we can't rip Nightmare in Dreamland's BG, that means we can't rip Kirby and the Amazing Mirror? Both Kirby games seems to have lots of palettes...

Dude, I just have no idea of how you do all that awesomeness!

Now, is it just me, or when I click "create ExGFX", it won't make it. It just keeps going and going. I used it earlier, and it worked fine.

I just added a BG archive section to this tool here: http://edit1754.co.cc/bgripper.php?act=viewsubmitted.
You can use BGs from it, or submit your own BGs to it.
I went ahead and added a few BGs to it that I thought were good.
NOTE: just to clear up any confusion that may occur, this is not supposed to replace the SMWCentral ExGFX section. It is not even supposed to work like the ExGFX section. You can't just download BGs from it and use them in your hack, you have to go through the palette/tile mapping process just like if you uploaded your own PNG or savestate.
Edit: fixed link

Very good idea, friend! Now we can find things easier (or harder, depending if someone's a noob [like new members] or if someone's smart [like the best helper, S.N.N. Boy, I hope I'm smart too, as I can be stupid sometimes...])
I'll go get my ExGFX and upload it in your BG archive section.
One question, is FG allowed to upload in there?

How do we upload ExGFX? That place doesn't say 'Submit ExGFX'. =/

So we just click on Submit to BG Archive and that's it? Nothing else?

click it and a dialog should pop up, then type in the name, your username, your SMWC ID (or the URL to your website if you want), and you can type a short note about it if you want.
EDIT: just fixed the problem with BG previews not showing

Last time I checked, bumps was against the rules. I'd suggest sending a PM to edit1754 about it instead.
