Oh yeah, what are the judging categories? I only saw Overall, Difficulty, Understanding, and Graphics.

i got a question. if this was already part of the rules, then i totally forgot to read that but can we put screenshots on this thread to show some of our progress. i already got 2 exits done and i want to show some of it.

Well, I guess you guys got close to around half. Although for any team hack, if someone does less than 25% will not be given a trophy if he/she is in the top 3. (Hmm, I should add that to the rules)
So what's the verdict?

No offence kyurel but you really need to fix a few things, I made it to the vertical lifts but the timing was horrible and I must of waited there for about 20/30 seconds and still wasn't in sync. So I couldn't complete it. Also I only had to use slowdown on 2 of the levels.

Quick tip: instead of the alt element, which only shows the text in IE, you can use the title element; notice that the element on sonia's description has "title: title text" instead of alterantive "text: alt txt" so you should do this instead:Code<img src="image link" title="winner of the kaizo level contest">
So the trophies should do this:
1st Place -
2nd Place -
3rd Place -

You should of made it at least possible to finish the demo, no I'm saying it's too easy. The other levels I could complete with 1 or 2 savestaes and no slowdown at all.

I feel kinda stupid asking this but if we were to get a trophy, would it automatically be put in our profile or would we have to put it in ourselves? And if we would have to put it in ourselves, how would we go about doing that?

It would normally be put into your account by an admin, but you can edit it with HTML. I know ulti knows how to do it.

Heh, looks like I'm being considered as the one to ask when it comes to HTML, as PenangBenny asked me a question earlier in a PM. Yet, it's true, I've been learning about HTML and whatnot.
Anyways, it depends on if this is an actual official contest with real trophies or not. If it is, an admin would put it in your profile, and enter you in the trophies section of the site. If it's not a real official contest, you'll have to make a trophy section in your profile yourself. See how my profile has sections? It would be like that, a mock-up, not a real trophies section, and you won't be entered in the trophies section of the site.

Thanks for answering my questions.
Man, I forgot how much easier it is to balance the difficulty of a Kaizo-level compared to a regular one. There's so much more freedom of design when your checklist is "Can I do it without a savestate? Yes? Ok, done."
I'm already about 2/3 of the way done with what I have planned for level design, though I may have to do some work on making it look pretty. So far its vanilla but I'm sure I can put something together for the remaining sections to change that.
Heh. For anything but this contest, you know you're doing something wrong when your inspiration for a level segment is "I wanna be the guy."
