OW Events

I've been reading through the OW document as well as the OW section of SMWiki (which appears to be quite similar). It seems to me that there is no explination of how to move from one event to another, or to determine which event is being worked on at a given time. I understand that I need to open the Layer 2 Event Editor Mode and then the respective Tile Selector. I also understand that I have to place the newly "opened" path tiles in the correct order. What I don't understand is how to declare an event as being seperate from another, or how to declare a given event as being triggered by the completion of a given level.

Can anyone shed some light on this?
It was a strange thing to come in right before the chaos.
A lot of you are nuts.
When in the event editor mode, use page up/page down to scroll through the events. If in Layer 2 Event Editor Mode you can also use home/end to move through each tile placement one at a time. The bottom of the screen tells you which event and which step you're on.

To trigger events, click a tile while in Layer 1 16x16 Editor Mode, and go to Overworld > Modify Level Tile Settings -> Event to activate when above level is passed.
I think I'm getting the hang of it. Now, I'm not quite sure if I've missed something, but I have yet to be able to display the levels/castles/fortresses that I am placing. Does this have to be done on both Level 1 and Level 2? Have I overlooked something else?

Also, I was curious if there was a major difference between the numerous non-level green circles in the green path tiles?

Are you saying they are invisible, and Can't Reveal them?

If So.. Simply Click on the Level while in Layer 1 Editing mode, then Click on the Level Properties Button (Yellow Level Button), then look near the bottom of the Window...

It will say: Reveal Tile On Event #:

simply select the Event you want it to appear on, and away you go :)

As for your Numerous Green Circles.... I have no clue what you are talking about xD
Thanks for the help.

The green circles I'm referring to are the "crossroads" of the green paths, they usually contain levels. There appears to be several of them that all look identical. This is the case with some of the yellow and red "level" tiles as well. Is there a difference between them or do they all do the same thing? (Sorry if this was no more clear than last time).

EDIT: Also, (I keep forgetting to ask this) when I load the ROM with my OW in it, Mario starts on an open crossroads block (white) but is unable to walk along the open road tiles to the first level. The tile he is standing on is not designated a level, but he can't go anywhere else, and is able to enter the level 0 never-ending bonus game. Any suggestions?

Open the Level's Properties (press the Yellow level Button) that You have made Mario Start on, then Change the Following:

Initial Directions (up/down/left/or right)
--Check whichever Direction you want Mario to be able to walk

Level Has Been Passed
--Check this Box (this sets up for the next thing)

Unable to Enter level if Passed
--This makes it so Mario Cannot in no way enter this level, if you have "Level has been passed" Checked.

I believe that Will fix your Problem ;)

Don't Worry About it.. Some things are Hard to explain :)

I believe all of those level tiles do the same thing.. I have never experianced any Difference between them...
