As I'm sure you may have all noticed by now, I have spent the past couple of hours reorganizing staff, doing promotions, and setting demotions.
Why is this taking place?
Over the past .. well, let's just say the past YEAR, complaints have been made about staff members, staff members have been slacking, or staff members have simply been too busy with this thing called "real life" to focus on the website anymore. Because of this, stuff on the site is falling behind, users are getting upset, etc. It's time we made some changes around here.
What does the new staff lineup look like?
It looks like this:

You may notice that people have been demoted, people have been removed, and people have been promoted. We would also like to welcome five new staff members, who have been around for a long time and are generally well respected/talented. They are:
-Roy
-Hach
-Alcaro
-Kc
-WhiteYoshiEgg
We are all sure you guys will be great assets!
But wait .. who was removed?
Approximately five staff members have been removed from the team for various reasons. It is none of your concern as to SPECIFICALLY why, but in general, they have slowly slipped away from SMW hacking, and have been unable to keep up with the workload on the site. Obviously, this does not apply to -all- of them, but a good chunk have been removed for this reason.
That should be everything. Changes will be happening around the site in the next little while, including mass section cleanups (we're shifting our focus to quality over quantity), and quicker moderations. Let's hope for the best!
Thanks everyone, and as usual, I probably made a really stupid typo in here, so feel free to point it out.

I was wondering why a lot of the forums have had no moderators for the past couple hours... Congrats to the new staff members! Most of the new staff I did expect to see (WhiteYoshiEgg, Roy...).

Wow, congratulations to you all! I know Roy and Alcaro, and kind of WYE, but not the others, but still, congrats!

The moderators who have been removed at this time are:
-pikaguy900
-Omega
-Reading
-Dispari Scuro
-edit1754 (section mod)
And Bloodstar has been shifted to a hack mod, since he is too busy with life to focus on global modding right now.

Nice to see some updates to the site. The members that got promoted I think pretty well did deserve their places. Also to the ones that received a higher staff placement. 
Though I should've gotten a pla- *shot*

Congratulations for the new staff members, and goodbye for the ones who were removed (seeing as they almost don't come here anymore). I would also like to congratulate the ones promoted, and I... don't think I can say anything for the ones that were demoted, I guess.

If you're curious about all of the staff members on the site currently, feel free to click on "Member List" in the menu, click the drop down box, select "Staff", and then click OK. You will get a list of all the current staff members on the site.
(I mean, the info in the first post of this thread should do it for you, but eh, whatever).

I'm glad with pretty much everything, although I'll certainly miss the people who have been demoted from the staff team... I hope they still access the site, even though they've just gotten demoted from the staff. ;_;
As for the new staff members, I'm super-glad with them - I'm sure they all are going to do an excellent job in this site, and they all deserved their respective positions. Oh, and speaking of the new staff members, I have something for them right here...

Hmmm.... this confuses me... does this mean you've decided to remove me from the forums but leave me as a section moderator? At the moment, I'm still a section mod, but I'm on the list of removed mods and I'm not on the list of section mods.
If you have decided to leave me as a section moderator, I am very glad with your decision.

Yeah, congratulations once again. I hope the new staff members do well. I know one or two of them vaguely, but they all seem like nice people. After all, moderation is a virtue. *waits for groans*
We sure seem to go through staff members quickly. I should list all the people who have been promoted or demoted during my six and a half months as an SMWC member. Well, as I said, congratulations, anyway.

Congrats to all the new staff- of course, I won't be the first or last to say this as we do the Broozer/FS4 promotion Annoucement all over again, of course. :p
They all deserved the job.
I sincerely hope this will stop all the complaints, although of course there's always going to be a immature user with a bone to pick (and mature ones too, although that's a lot more rare.) but I think that'll be less now, though.
And glad to see that there's a cleanup campaign. Hopefully that'll help improve the quality of this site.
