I recently started adding custom blocks into my hack. when i went to test my new one (thorny vines) i could not figure out how to make it so Yoshi could walk on them ( like the black chomps). Can someone tell me how to achieve this affect?
Add something like this into your blocks code:

Why would that need to be a custom block in the first place? Just make it act like a muncher (tile 12F) using the 16x16 editor.
