So, i started a hack and need some help thinking up a plot.
Here is what i have came up with so far:
Bowser has invented the monocrome ray that makes evrything boring and eventless. However the ray has backfired sending koopa island where marios home was and has sent the world of: Yoshi, Mayor Monty, Pokey, King boo and Thunderlatiku into chaos and they have noticed nothing. But as bowsers world was transported to mario's home, a big gap was left where it once stood... Inside this realm someone is controling all this chaos!
Has bowser set loose marios worst adversary yet?
All the rest of the heroes are clueless, its up to mario to save the day!

Me, Failling at A later level...
So i plan to make the first world with the basic mario tiles/sprites and use custom stuff for the rest.

First of all, nice overworld. There are some perspective errors however.
Also, the first bonus room type of thing, you can get permanently stuck if you accidentally step on the switch without getting the big wall of coins. If you move the coins down enough so Mario can jump over them, or make the pipe you use to get in that room exit-enabled, so the pipe resets the room.
Other than that, it's a good level.
I suggest you use lame, and mplayer. Just download those, put them in the same folder as ZSNES, them in ZSNES select "Movie Options" click "Record" then play for a bit, then press "Stop" click "DUMP" and press "Start".
It should work.

That mario hack looks good. I am not a good plot maker so, can't help you with the plot problem

Thanks for the feedback.
Yellowfang- Its not the recorder, but the compatabilaty of the speakers on my laptop. Im planing to use a reset block onec i read the instructions on how to insert stuff (asides map 16 and music)
Where is it out of perspective though, can you post or pm where?
I have a idea for a plot so read first post.

Is this better? I have atempted to make better sails for the boat and a bridge thet the boat is docked to. The sails went wrong though so ignore them.

Looks better.
I would remove the first and third bridge tiles(the light brown ones)
but that's all your choice.

if it was me, i'd get rid of all of the brown bridge tiles. The way there set up, it looks odd. Esspecially the one to the far bottom right. :S

For a first hack, this is excellent. It has the potential to skewer either way. It could turn out good, but it could get bad. So far, I like most of what you've done. All I can say is, "God, I hope that's not world one."
Edit: If Dinomar sees this thread, be prepared to have to fix about 1000000000000000 cutoffs or suffer his wrath.

I laughed When I saw The Dinomar thing, but I did notice in the level there were some cutoofs so you might wanna fix those, Otherwise it looks good, It's not too long, not too lineir. Perfect!

I like it, I like the plot 
But I think the Reznors should've made the ray 
Reznors need the spotlight sometimes.

It looks quite fun so far, but one thing bugs me: all of the minor cutoff near ledge ends. Could you fix thouse? The plot and OverWorld are great, though. Keep making good material!

I have made a few overworlds and levels for hacks before, But yea thanks.
The Reznors are the bad guys in mayor monty's caves by the way.
EDIT: After some time, the level in the first post has moved to one of the later worlds.

Ahh no, Its hammer bro!
Naming style of levels is also decided. eg. "Toasted 'shrooms" or "Lightening strikes"

Wow ur mountain level is amazing, it has good vocal. But there are some minor glitches like the corners of the bridgebrenches and the corner of bone.

What??? Bowser??? I thought that was a cow XD
The hack looks quite nice for now.
Level design is even unlinear, even if there are some oddities (in the submap, what are those balls above the castle supposed to be?)
In some screenshot, you used a ground supposed to be not passable: well, that's a bit odd: you should use something else that doesn't make that looking like cutoff.

I just noticed this and this joke is not even remotely funny! Count the fact that i try to help and when i complain too much it means that there is a serious problem! and in this hack i don't see several problems! Then you complain i am too picky: if you guys continue so, it is normal that i get more picky! What a shame: edit a post for a stupid and unreal statement! If you are trying to attract me, do it in a different way! I hope this is the first and the last time that this happens! phenolatukas, i am usual to fix some mistakes, but don't listen those ridicolous statements because they are unreal. Let's going on topic forever, now.

Another action packed part of my level

Another irratating glitch in my level...
So im asking for your help here.
I have fast auto scroll on at this part and every time mario gets to the goal, he dies? WHY!?!
