We all know who Billy Mays is by now. If you don't, shame on you. Billy Mays is known world wide for his amazing ability to sell products, pitch ideas, and rhyme while yelling at the top of his lungs. Oxyclean, Orange Glo, Kaboom!, Mighty Putty, Hercules Hooks and more.
The "Infomercial King" as many have called him, died earlier today.

Some are speculating that it may be linked to a slight mishap on an airplane that he was riding, where its tire blew out or something as it was landing, though it isn't confirmed if this is really what caused it.
I wonder what'll happen to that show on Discovery Channel, Pitch Men, now. I doubt they'll continue it...

Celebs/famous people are dropping like flies! wtf is up with this? Is there some sort of extermination plague going around, because that's 4 recent celeb. deaths!

Dang, I would have never thought Billy Mays would be dead this quick. I would not be surprised if this is the work of some secretive organization; famous people just don't die all together like that.
But on a lighter note, I can imagine Pitchmen going on for a little while without Mr. Mays here. Seeing how products sold years ago such as the Dual Saw were in some of the first episodes. However, I think the only way it will have a long term lifespan is if they bring in (shudder) Vince.
Seriously though, advertisment will never be the same without Billy Mays. He always seemed to like his job and the product he was selling more than any other pitchman I've seen.

You're deafening voice when your commercial suddenly comes up and the volume is really loud on the tv because the stupid show you were watching had low volume will be remembered forever!

Wow, there have been a lot of famous people dying lately. Bad time to be famous, I guess...
His commercials were strange, but I loved the way he YELLED OUT HIS PRODUCTS LIKE THIS! His commercials didn't suck like the rest of the diet crap that's always on TV now.
I'll miss you Billy Mays. D:
