With Smallhacker's leave of absence, I figure this job is getting rather tough to handle alone. With Kieran managing all of the behind-the-scenes coding and such, he can't really keep tabs on all of the frontlines.
I've promoted Supertails/Eirin Yagokoro to the administration line. As I'm sure most of you know, he has done an amazing job on his site, and shown a great deal of devotion, kindness, and all-around awesomeness. It's been a pleasure getting to know him, and I'm sure it will be an even bigger pleasure working with him on this level.

Congardulations Eirin. Just don't use the bone saw when chopping down noobs. Too messy.
I'm personally happy for this promotion, I think he deserves it because he's been such a wonderful member and a great guy to hand around.
Good luck with your new job, serve us well.

Let me be the first second to officially congratulate Supertails to his promotion! I'm sure you'll do a great job as an admin. ;) I can't think of anyone who deserved that position more than you.

The sad thing is, I did this while he was on in hopes of him seeing this immediately. It just occurred to me that he has logged off for the next x hours.

Excellent job, Supertails. Not only are you the most popular global mod (drawing that conclusions from last Mosts), to me, you seem like one of the most fitting ones in the position of admin. I'm sure you'll do fine in that position.

Wow! I've never even seen anyone promoted to administrator before. Supertails was always such an awesome person, but...I hope he can handle the job. I'd always thought being an administrator required some knowledge of HTML and other programming languages, and I didn't think he really knew anything like that.
Well, to Supertails personally, congratulations! Good luck with the new position.

That was quite... unexpected. Still though, it is nice to see such a great person as you, Supertails, receiving such a big promotion. I'm sure you will do an amazing job as an admin, seeing how devoted to the website you seem to be, and how friendly you are with other users.

I was surprised when I saw this thread, but I am defenitly sure you deserved the promotion, because you have always been a really good moderator and a very nice person to talk to!

They don't need to have a ton of knowledge. For example, I am only mediocre when it comes to programming, yet I still know enough to get the job done when it needs to be done. I'm sure he has a bit of the same as well.
On that note, I should probably take this time to re-welcome FirePhoenix back. He made it very clear that he loved you all too much to leave (he put emphasis on me though, of course).
EDIT: Holy crap, I was responding to imamelia's post and there are like, 6 more already. Baw.

Nice to hear that FirePhoenix is back!
On to the main point. Supertails really deserves this position as he has always done his job perfectly. He is one of those members I know the longest (3 years or something?) and he has always been nice and gentle to everyone. Really unexpected, but simultaneously awesome. You'll do a great job, Supertails!!!
