This is brobablly the hardest boss I have ever seen:

I know bullet hells' got some insane bosses. Though bullet hell isn't exactly impossible. There are some things that make it easier than it seems. For exemple, how "exactly the same" it is every time.
Now, I'm not saying this boss is easy... Not at all. But I'd like to see suggestions of NON bullet-hell bosses.
Has anyone played trauma center? The first one on the Wii? Second opinion? The missions X-6 seems extremely hard... I can't get past mission X-1 already. That's a good exemple of a hard boss.
There are also certain RPGs where you get real hard sidequests. Like FF tactics where you've gotta face 5 level 99 magicians. Of course it's not that hard..

It's just the typical danmaku shmup boss on highest difficulty.
The game is going to be released on the jap 360.

Well aside from that boss, I definitely think Grunty from Banjo Kazooie/Tooie is a complete bitch. Not impossible, but many controllers have been broken on this bitch. (Okay one, but it was a good controller.)

Actually, Grunty is a total cinch compared to the sheer terror of HAG1.
I don't even think it's even possible without and health upgrades or the breath upgrade you get from the goldfish. Especially the cyanide-mustard-something gas part, where the clock ticks on your breath bubbles, and with only about 4 of them, you better act fast.
So basically HAG1 on replay mode, with the lowest possible max amount of honey, bubbles, eggs, and feathers, is hard.

I can agree with Super Mario Galaxy's Boldergeist, and Grunty From Banjo Kazooie/Tooie (I do not fully remember HAG1).
However, another hard boss for me, if I recall correctly, is the boss of the Pirate Ship in Soul Blazer.

Oh another one,
Titan Dwevvil from pikmin 2.
90 yellow pikmin and 10 purple pikmin go in the cave with the titan dweevil in.
7 yellow pikmin and 5 purple pikmin come out.

Titan Dweevil is not that hard, just put all your non yellow pimins in the corner with the boss, and when he uses water pump, whistle.
Destroy the water pump first, then the shocker. Then it's easy.
I can't say any boss from the Banjo kazooie serie is hard, and I wouldn't say that boss from Mario galaxy is the hardest thing ever (even If I did die a bunch of times trying to get him without loosing a single life...)
There are a lot of RPG games bosses that are really hard.
Ruby weapon is really impossible, when you don't have knights of the round, I mean. If anyone has played "final fantasy tactics A2", there are some side-bosses that are impossible (5 units with level 99!).
I think older games have harder bosses, so we should seek in the SNES or NES games probably...
Ridley in super metroid maybe? Well, not THAT hard... But there are those 15% runs in metroid Zero and Fusion that makes some bosses nearly impossible. Oh yes, Fusion, the arachnid boss! That one was hard! Some bosses in Ocarina of time or A link to the past are quite hard too... Especially in the dark world.
Spekio level ** is hard too. If you ever manage to face him.

Hm. Well, I have played Final fantasy Tactics Advance for GBA, but those bosses are not that hard, in my opinion.
Also, Soul Blazer is for the SNES, so you should try to find similar games if possible.
I still think that the hottest boss goes to Twinrova from Ocarina of Time. She and the Great Fairy have rockets sown onto their torsos.

FFTA - Final Boss Form 2 (If you don't have a ton of Lvl 5 Law Cards, you're screwed.)
FF7 - Emerald Weapon (True warriors fight without the Underwater materia.)
Paper Mario:TTYD - Bone Tail (He's Hell if you used all your Ultra Mushrooms already.)
Punchout!! Wii - Mr. Sandman Defense Bout (If you don't know the pattern, it's pretty much game over.)

I've got a secret strategy which alows me to kill bonetail in one-two rounds so I didn't mention him. (exchanging your life limit until it reaches 5 and then add a lot of power rushes for +2 damage each.)

Oh jeez Bouldergeist was just simply infuriating on Daredevil.
Emerald Weapon without Underwater materia is a cinch if you have the patience to exploit the Death Penalty glitch.
The hardest boss that comes to mind for me is Omega from MMZX on hard mode. That means no life ups. (can't remember if you can get subtanks on hard mode or not) He's also far more aggressive than he was on MMZ3, and he can heal himself. I beat him once by luck using Model X(it takes away the temptation to try a triple saber-slash)
