I finished the first submap. 
And I'm working on the overworld! Note that I said WORKING. I still need to work on the top right.

the area near the middle bottom of the OW, is that a valley? Its kinda hard to tell. Other than that, looks awsome.

Looks pretty good! The only thing I think that could be different is the
beach palette. Maybe lighten the color a little, to make it looks more like sand? Other wise, I like how it's not square or too linear.

To give the hack another Yoshi-ish feature, all (regular) world names are named after fruits. XD
Peach Plains
Watermelon Way
Coconut Caverns
Banana Beach
Fig Forest
Mango Mountain (One of the YI Mountains)
--------------------------------------------
Others:
Bowser's Gate
Infinity Summit (The sacred YI Mountain. This one is accessed once all 7 Golden Eggs are collected and placed at the Golden Egg Gate.)
Guess where the Golden Egg Gate is on the Overworld and win free stuff.

I suggested World 3 mud GFX so it'll look like sand/wet sand with YI sky BKG.
