So let's say that I have a tile that I want to use but I also want to use a vertically flipped version (like an upside-down ledge). Is there any way to do this without editing the tileset? Just a note, I have to go to bed now, so any answers will not be looked at until tomorrow, so don't expect immediate feedback or anything.

If I understand corretly, then...
1. Click on the question block.
2. Left click on the icon you want to flip.
3. Go to the go the fourth page, by using the up, and down arrow keys.
4. Click the "Flip Y" button, and right click on one of the blue boxes, on the page.

There is an easier way. Go to you Map 16 select the tile you wanna flip. Then click flip Y then right click on a free page of a map 16. Use page 2 as it will remember everything regardless in what level you have it set ti. Then right click on the tile and if done right the fliped ground tile should be pasted in then press F9 to save. Go to your add objects window go to the drop down menu and click Direct Map 16. Then push down twice and there you go.

No, page 2 is where tileset specific tiles go. They'll only work if you use the tileset they're in (such as castle or forest). Whatever tile your flipping, it will always look like the tile you originally flipped because they use the same 8x8 tiles.
