As a spinoff of the S&VT, I create this thread dedicated to palletes.
You can post screenshots, or even the .plt file for use !
Here is my most recent :

That palette's not bad, Lemonade/Poisonade. A little too bright for my tastes really, but eh.
I make a lot of various palettes for my hack, such as this one, this one and this one. I have many more of course, but I can't be bothered making screenshots (I only used pictures of my hack anyway). They might seem pretty dark on darker monitors but whatever.

It's a pretty nice idea, I think. However, you (all of you) should provide a .tpl file along with the screenshot, since otherwise they'd better fit in the Screenshots thread, runining the point of this thread.

Well, I haven't really bothered uploading the palettes I showed earlier, but I have brought a .zip of various other palettes I made for my old hack. It's here. I've got a few in-game screenshots here:

There's a lot more than those three, but those are the only ones I have a good picture of. I noticed that I've only showed cave screenshots. Don't be thrown off, there are a few grass palettes and quite a few castle ones as well.

Gradients are pretty fun to work with. Who says you only need one color gradients?

This palette is also in the .zip I uploaded. I think it's pretty cool.

Eh, I'll throw the old sticky tape on this one.
Also, if I remember to, I'll post some palettes of mine later when I have time.

Which underwater palette is better? The first one or the second one?

I only have the palettes of the first SS and the 2nd underwater palette.
.pal file 1
.pal file 2

I'm showing off both, the level and the palette.

%N: To be honest, neither really looks like an underwater palette, though if I had to choose...maybe #2. Maybe it's just the trees in the background. Either way, I'd work on adding a blue tinge to the entire palette, including the green grass, to try and give off more of a watery feel.
Phantasm: Interesting choice with the brown/green contrast. I feel like there's something a bit off with it but I can't put my finger on it, so I guess it's fine.

Not much else i can do, or it will look like a mess of blue and ugliness...

I like that a lot better! Only recommendation now is that you should probably add an outline to the column part of the pillar, since right now it could be confused for a part of the background.

I made palettes for a cave level and a water cave level. Take a look.

This is going to have plenty of lava and stuff like that.

This is supposed to be an underwater palette. (nevermind the lava; I didn't edit the level)
.tpl files (both files in a .zip file)

Palette showoff thread? Well, why not...

We need more winter vanilla palettes

http://bin.smwcentral.net/4805/Palletes.zip
Anyone can use these. (Also, I swear I'm retarded today. I know Palette has one L. Ignore that slight error in the file. I have also forgotten how to use a direct link to something. If someone could remind me how, it would be appreciated)
EDIT: Thank you The Wizfish for reminding me. =)
