So music 14 is the title music of the game. If you use it in a level, you get glitchy sound effects. Would there be possibly a way to edit something to make the effects work right?

Music 14 is the music from the Intro Level. Use This Patch Mattrizzle made to make it work properly.

Note that Matrizzle has said that there are some bugs. One being that when you get a Star in a level with that music, instead of the bonus music playing, you'll get the music re-starting. The other one, if I remember correctly, is something related to the wrong music being played when you pass the goal ring in every level after using the patch.

That's only if you put the music in with Hex editing. As Yoshis_fan said, the patch is bug free.
