As many of you have noticed, there have been a few changes to the staff team. (i.e. Kate's thread in this forum) There will be a couple more as well, but one I'd like to draw attention to is the promotion of Iceguy to local moderator, who will now moderate SMW Hack Discussion, Advanced SMW Hacking, and the blocks/sprites sections. As an experienced user and generally great guy who has contributed a lot to the site, I'm sure he'll do well.
These changes are in part because of the new hack moderators we've hired, but also to keep the staff team working well as a whole. SMWC has grown a lot over the years, so a solid staff foundation is key in the times to come.

Congrats Iceguy! I knew you'd make it onto the staff team eventually! I am sure that you'll do an excellent job moderating the files here and such! :D

Funny how this popped up right after I noticed Iceguy being a mod, and wondering "Since when was Iceguy a mod"

Heh. Probably one of the many obvious picks for staff.
Like ST said, a generally nice guy, and very experinced hacker, from what I can tell.
Insane at ASM, so perfect to moderate Advanced SMW Hacking.

Well (as I said on IRC), congratulations, Iceguy! I figured you were near the top of the list for possible staff member choices. I personally think you deserved it. You were always a really nice, helpful guy, and quite knowledgeable about ASM.
Good luck, Iceguy, with your new job. Make us proud, bring positive influence to Advanced SMW Hacking, and make a Mode 7 boss for me keep up the good work!
Hmm, now I'm curious who the others will be...

Heh, thanks everyone. It was quite unexpected since I thought there wasn't a need for new mods since new hack moderators were chosen. Anyways, I'll try my best to do a good job as a moderator :3

Oh ho! That was really unexpected. I thought after choosing that many hack mods there won't be many promotions in the future, but it seems, I was wrong. Although it doesn't mean, that it would be bad, or even better, I know that Iceguy will do an awesome work as a mod! Congrats dude, and good luck.

(Oh, forgot to add about the who'll be next.)
It'll be hard to tell. I mean, we have so many people who are on here and contribute. It'd be hard to guess.
