Hi
This is my first hack that is based in my favorite fangame "Super Mario Epic 2: The Dream Machine" done by Jeff Silvers Software.
Plot:
After Mario last defeated Bowser, the Mushrom Kingdom returned to a state of peace. The Mushroom People were finally free of the evil menace that had plagyed them for so long. They were eager to continue their carefree lives under the rule of Princess Peach, but high atop his sky castle, the siniester frog wart had invented a new device he called a "Dream machine". With it he could send nightmares to any sleeping person in the Mushroom Kingdom. Now rhe peaceful days that the Mushroom People had enjoyed were overshadowed by their horrible, restless nights. Wart promisedto continue his nightmarish reign of terror until the Mushroom Kingdom surrended Princess Peach. Refusing to do so, the Kingdom insisted sent Mario to defeat Wart and destroy the Dream Machine.
What will this hack have?
Custom music (most of them from smas)
custom gfx (most of them from smb2)
custom sprites (i will try to make wart)
hex modifications like pokey (four balls).
custom blocks
screenshots
Beta title screen and straigth fireball
A new PowerUp
Yes, the smb3 hammersuit (hahaha)
beta introduction level (sorry is had not have)
Beta overworld
Beta statusbar with heart meter and animated coin (i like the animated coin altough it isn't in the fangame)
Veggie!
Break By Fireball and POW block
YI Winged Item Cloud (with a mushroom)
A poison mushroom in a question block
A pumpkin that is going to fight against beta pokey
The blue coins value 5 coins
Underground
Ok, i think the game would have 15 levels, the overword, introudiction level and the title screen will be fixed. Actually i don't know what name would the hack have so i make a poll if you want to vote. (Closed poll)

You really, really should get permission from Jeff Silvers to see if it's OK to make this.

I agree. Even if based on, you should get permission if this Jeff wants his to be a "unique" type of game.

ok, i take a decision, until jeff silvers answers my email and gives me the permission to remake his fangame, i wonīt release any beta. i donīt know if this is a right decision but i will ontinue making the hack and posting the progress.

Wow, I never check my email but happened upon this post purely by accident. I've already emailed him to let him know, but yes, I'm fine with Mengrid remaking my game. As far as what to call it, I think "New Super Mario Epic 2" has a cool ring to it, but that's all your call.

Hi
as you can see in the post, jeff silvers have given me the permission to remake his hack and he will receive credit (of course). If you want to see that is right, see this pic from my mailbox http://yfrog.com/jp37364458j (the words that are near the message is the windows live hotmail window in spanish).
Now talking about the hack, i think i will upload screenshots of level 3 and 4 this week and now, i would like to answer to my poll to the three options in this poll, i will thank you.

Hi, and sorry for the double post
i have made the levels 3 and 4 and another changes, for example:
Custom music
No more spin jump
overworld (no images)
no more sprite limits patch
custom sprites
no points that are shown before you get a prize or you defeat an enemy (gfx only)
and:
fixed pokey
new underground bg and new status bar (maybe the final)
level 3, beta layer 3 water, porcu fish with boss bass gfx
Oh no, a poison mushroom in a plant
level 4, giant land and giant shyguy
pseudo giant coin block (coment if you like this idea)
giant pirhana plant
bonus level
hammer suit
giant break with fireballs block and giant goomba
