The reason this happens (I believe) is because your text is all black.

In a hex editor (Transhexlon or XV132) find the address: AF39 (or type in search 03139 or AF39) and change that number to 80. As shown below.

Code

03139 $00:AF39 1 byte Misc. Change to 80 to completely disable the fade-out when beating a level.

If you need more help - tell me.

EDIT: or you could just change the colour in either YY-CHR or the palette in Lunar Magic (I suggest the first, as you would have to do every level...)

2. Open your ROM up with it.
3. Press Ctrl + G and type x03139
4. Type 80
5. Done
