This is the title screen tut.

1. Title screen letters editing.

2. Mario's moves on the title.

1. Title screen letters editing.

Open your rom in lunar magic, then press the castle button on the top
and it'll lead you to the overworld.

You most likely have the newest version of lunar magic so go to file, then go to title screen, press load title screen and you're there.

Now you can edit it.
Now press the iceberg that is shaded 3/4 and you can select things.

It may seem jumbled at first, but hopefully you can get used to it.

Avoid using letters with black out of them because they will look bad.

You know not to have bad palletes or cutoff or anything else other than Letter, numbers or symbols. Part 1/2 done!

2. Mario's moves on the title.

Now if you want to have mario move differently, to back to the levels, go to level C7.

Now edit it. Go back to the overworld editor and go to file, go to title screen, press install Title moves recording ASM, press OK.

Now open up ZSNES and wait for mario to die.

As soon as the game over letters are gone but still in black screen, press esc, then go to MISC.

Now select Move opn, Press record and exit out and move mario until you are done what you want to do on title screen and then SAVESTATE, go back to movie opn and then press stop.

Then close zsnes. Go back to the OV editor and press file and go to title screen again and press insert Title moves recording ASM and then you notice a folder named *romname*.mzt.

Go into it, and double click append and you got that. But you need to uninstall the title moves recording ASM otherwise you get glitched up events if you are using events. The end of the tutorial. I hope it helped you.

UPDATE: TEST your title screen out to see any problems!!! Problems like dying on the intro, or messed up stuff there.

thanks a lot! :D
I guess they were right, dying on the Title Screen is the method everyone uses for some reason. I highly suggest you do it the proper way to avoid potential messyness, by copying C7 to an Overworld level like the FAQ tells you to.

Probably because of that youtube tutorial. (How I found out in the first place...)

I have a tutorial like this in the sidebar.
THIS IS MY FIRST POST. IF YOU'RE LOOKING THROUGH MY POSTS, I HAVE TO WARN YOU THAT MY POSTS BEFORE 370 WERE WRITTEN WHEN I WAS IDIOT

There will be no more warnings, so be careful! Don't take any idiocy to yourself if you find some.

So, yeah... I never understood why somebody would want to look through somebody posts.

When I die in the title screen it says Time Up, plays the next custom song [as it would play the Special World theme had I not used custom music] and cuts to a black screen, mutes sound and freezes.
Is this because I'm using ExGFX? Or because I'm using custom music for the title screen?
