hi, just wanted to know how to prevent the bg and fg from getting messed up with bad graphics, after i save the map16page into the rom. This only happens when I reopen the rom after I have saved it.
In Map16, press F9. It will save any changes you have done to Map16.
yeah um...I did do that and it still did it...
On the page you were editing? or some other page? it HAS to be the page you are editing also, did you save the actual level? and did you insert ExGFX?

ok, I did save the actual level and I inserted the ExGFX. Does the page for the map16 matter at all or does it not mess anything up?
did you remember to dirst extract the normal GFX and insert them again? with ExGFX, this causes bad glitchy gfx when you didn't.

The map16 page matters a lot. Make sure you use a different blank page everytime you insert a map16page of data.

what do you mean by dirst? and I will try to see if putting the map16 on different pages will help.

I believe he mistyped first, considering that the F & D keys are right next to each other.

And before you start randomly putting in Map16 blocks, you should only insert blocks in pages 0x3-0xF, and backround graphics in pages 0x13-0x1F, because you may overwrite other blocks and graphics if you start inserting on any other page.

Yeah sorry, i should have told you the pages. >_>
But I didn't have LM open.
Are you using the right GFX files? If your not, it will take the wrong tiles and put them together where your block was, giving it weird graphics. Also, test it in the game. Depending on what your doing, it might be some little thing lunar magic won't show; like if you change a sprites pallet with tweaker, it will still look the same in lunar magic.

Rabees, you don't need that quote in a quote in a quote thing. You can just quote the small part you needed if you edit the message.
What ExGFX are you using?
