@Schwa/Amanda: Thanks a lot! Yeah, the video kind of blurred the above ground FG a little, it's got some detail, but I should add some more.
@AxemJinx: Not bad at all. The floating fuzzies looked odd, but the palette was nice. The section where you spin jump on the rock was clever though.

Dear me, I just soiled myself. (not really.)
I love the idea of a remake of The Greatest Hack Ever</b> and the intro only makes me love it more. Unexpected end tag (</b>) at 433, expected </i> Tag (b) was not closed.

@FPI: Greatest title screen ever!
All the others, all you are doing a great job!
I'll show to you guys a little bit of the level I am doing:
Pow Underground
(If you have a better name for it, PM me)

As you can see, the message box is telling about the Blue Pow at the beginning of the level.

After, when the Blue Pow is pressed... The Blue Pow Blocks become solid!

Here's inside the underground, the BG was ripped by MetaKnight (thanks). As you can see, I've changed the GFX of the turning blocks.

This is why I've changed its GFX, I downloaded Doggycharly's ? Blocks in YI style and to fit with the style, I've changed the graphics of some blocks. Thanks Doggycharly!

More Blue Pow Blocks and... Blaargs!!
Feel free to post your comment!

Usually palettes that are that bright are bad, but the blue cave pallete looks really good. The design looks good too. What's the name of the hack you're doing again?
BTW, yellow switch shouldn't be necessary to get that Dragon coin. It sucks to do a level again to get something minor like that.

The name is probably the most difficult thing for my hack. I think I'll call it Super Mario and the Magical Mushroom. Instead of Bowser I may purt Wart as the last boss . I think the yellow switch blocks give the player a different way to collect the dragon coins, but I'll see if I change it...
Anyway, thanks for the nice comment, Onthenet.

I've been seeing some great things from this thread since we reopend. I'm looking forward to seeing a lot of them in action when their done.
This is an early video of my Mario is Missing 2 Remake
<object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/ddjYwgPzolI"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/ddjYwgPzolI" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>
Thank Ibz for his GFX, which I now call my hack "Alternate Mario is Missing 2". It's not really much right now, but I'm hoping to add some new levels and flesh out a storyline if possible. And yeah, I haven't forgot about Dr. Mario Redrawn. I hope I can release both remakes by early April.
FPI, good luck on your remake, too. Great title screen.

You're doing two remakes at the same time? Wow. Anyways, it's nice to hear from you again, you haven't posted much about your hacks lately, too. ;)
It's also nice to see that more people begin to use ibz10g's redrawn GFX as an alternative to icegooms GFX.
@Broozer: Very nice screens, too. Like the P-blocks a lot, and the bluish palette works surprisingly well, if you ask me.
Anyway, as I said before I made a few additions to the title screen. Now I'm much more satisfied with it:

Thanks, FPI, all I have to say of your TSRP1 remake is VERY AMAZING! BTW, sorry, but I didn't see any changes in the title screen, maybe is only me... It looks great, before and after!
@B. B. Link: Very nice, but why the fireballs are green? Your two redraws look great!

That's because I replaced the old image with the new one. Why should I left the old one intact? It's outdated :p

My map16 ExGFX areas will be cluttered if I keep making my game how I am. So I decided to take a stab at custom FG GFX that can take the place of the normal games GFX.
This requires no mape16, they use page 1, the one the original game used. I will have to tweak the map a little bit, but keep it the same for the most part. These GFX are horrible, I know. I just wanted to say, I'm trying.

Most of the reason I need to tweak it is to fix those right edges and etc.

Actually, I like the look of the grass very much. You'd be surprised how appealing simple shapes can be :p. It reminds me of Super Paper Mario. The lines are a little headache-inducing though.
Of course, it depends on what visual themes you're going for in the first place.

Well originally I was going for something like Super Paper Mario. But it failed and evolved into this.
