I want to import the GFX for the Mario sprites to act as an object that stands still and Mario cannot come into contact with. I want to use Luigi's pallets with them but the problem is I don't know which pallet to use and I don't know the 8X8 tile numbers. Help anyone?
Well if you wanted to just use a standing pose or something you'd need to create a new ExGFX file that has the pose you want in it. After that is just importing it setting it up and making the map16 graphics. As for the palette you'd need to use a custom one so you can have all of the correct colors.
The graphics already feature Mario's graphics though. Surely I could "recycle" them or something.
That's what ninjaboy just told you how to do. You'll need an ExGFX file no matter what.

Also, use this tool for the ExGFX.
